Bunty and Babli are two avid dreamers. Two free souls born into caged small town realities. They grow weary of being two specks on the horizon. They desire the horizon itself. And so they pack their aspirations in worn out bags, whip a scarf of confidence around their proud necks and set forth. On a journey across the length and breadth of the country, spinning circles around the people they meet.

Biswajit Tripathy Chopra's have always given us the kinds of pictures that we love to watch. This is one such movie. This movie is about a young boy and girl who ran away from their house with only dream in their pockets. And what they achieve? A nice movie from the house of Chopra's and for the first time father son teams up for this movie.Rakesh is the son of a Ticket Collector with Indian Railway and the only earning member of the family. Like every other father in India, he also wants his son to be a Ticket Collector like him. But Rakesh is very ambitious and wants to be rich in the easy way as like most other today's youth. Hence he runs away from the home.Vimmi belonging to a Punjabi family stays with her parents. Like all parents, they want her to get married. But Vimmi wants to be a actress and model. She also runs away from her home. Both of them meet, gets attracted to each other. Initially both of them were cheated in the big bad city that is called Mumbai. Then they devise plan to bend the city down to their knees. They rename themselves as Bunti and Babli and starts their journey. They get married in a very informal ceremony. During all these they sell Tajmahal or some foreigners, cons businessman. This part is a bit too funny. All is well until Babli gets pregnant. Dasrath a Police Inspector has been assigned the job to catch them. What lies in store for them. That is the thing to watch.A complete entertainment package. Aishwarya has got a dance no. Kajrare which was a super duper hit with the masses. Songs are nice, Picturization is nice too. A nice story with nice acting by the lead as well as all other actors.
Tan Singh Mr Chopra stole the idea from "Catch me if you can" and added all that garbage Hindi Masaalaa. Direction was totally senseless. You can make a comedy, which has some sense. But looks like current Bombay Directors start from the base thinking that all public is stupid and they can put any "masaalaa" in movie, to stretch it for 3 hours as long as they put some top faces on screen and show some skin. If they wanted to copy from English movie, they could have done better job. They could have taken some lesson from "Angoor". But by making some foreigner walking around in India, with millions of dollars in his bag and Deputy Commissioner of Police dancing around in Clubs made it a total senseless movie. In short - A senseless movie, total waste of time and money.
AishFan Abhishek and Rani team up as partners in crime as they try to steal all of India's money in this hilarious movie! Starting out as two innocent souls fed up of the small-town life, the two run away in hopes of fulfilling their big dreams of fame and fortune. After running into too many road blocks, they try to go the easy way out by, well, stealing. They never run out of ideas to fool people. The best and most creative scene is the one with the Taj Mahal! Both Abhishek and Rani give a great performance. All the songs are great be it Chupke Se or Dhadak Dhadak. This movie features the king of item numbers with the Bachchans and the mesmerizing Aishwarya in Kajra Re. She finally does an entertaining role, be it just a song, after all her serious films like Raincoat and Chokher Bali. Coming from U.P. and being intimately familiar with some of the filming locations, I took full delight in watching this movie! Amitabh, of course, is excellent. His music video is fantastic. Just when you think you've laughed all you could, Amitabh makes sure his rapping skills leave your eyes watering!
tdcsubs This is one of the better movies made in Bollywood recently. Everything about the movie is great, especially the acting...however, has anyone noticed that the movie is an obvious copy of Hollywood's Steven Spielberg's "Catch me if you can"? Sure, there are the slight touches to the original, like in here there are two fraudsters instead of one....and also, holding to the Indian tradition of movies they must both be of different sexes and must inevitably fall in love and have a child...not to forget the extremely well choreographed dance sequences in between, which is probably the only thing original in the movie....don't get me wrong, if you consider Bollywood alone, this is one of THE BEST MOVIES...unhappily, i'd already watched the Hollywood version...if i ever watch a bollywood movie that's not a "remix" of a Hollywood one, i'll give it a ten no matter how crap it is.....
