Details

Bunnyman is the story of a group of friends on their way back from a spontaneous weekend trip to Las Vegas, and while driving through the remote regions of southern California they suddenly find themselves in a sickening game of cat and mouse with a five ton dumptruck and, when looking for help, stumble upon a nightmarish family who takes pleasure in dismembering and eating as many of the kids as possible.

Reviews

Hottoceame The Age of Commercialism
Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
a_baron The reviews of this piece of rubbish are overwhelmingly negative. With good reason. Some people have suggested "Bunnyman" was inspired by "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". The similarities are apparent. Unfortunately, they are all bad. The victims are in an isolated area, no one else or even a telegraph pole in sight, and there is a monster on the loose, in this case one that has the appearance of an eight foot Bugs Bunny. One can listen to a lengthy piece of music or even a song in a foreign language and derive pleasure from same without even the pretence of understanding it. How much pleasure can one derive from watching an endless stream of torture, gruesome murder and the occasional rape? Not a lot, unless your name is Ted Bundy.
byebyeman An oldie but a goodie. Loved this movie back in the day and nothing's changed since then. It's set in a remote forest, with lost teens, and a modern day sheriff stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the teens face the bunnyman, they see up close and personal just how the West was really won. Great story line with some good performances, plenty of horror, and enough gore to satisfy any naturally hungry horror movie goer who loves horror films. Get your copy today. You won't regret it!
mario-linguity Where to begin, this is the start of the Bunnyman franchise. I compare this to something like the original Friday the 13th where you lay down the ground work for the franchise. Yeah, both of the films are a little shaky, but they establish their respective franchises well. We see Bunnyman, yet the mystery remains where he comes from (apparently the filmmakers will address this is part 3). Sort of like Jason doesn't get the hockey mask until part 3. I like the mixed media they use in the film, and shows the filmmakers are a creative bunch. Of all the Bunnyman films, this is the most straightforward of the films. However, this original film hints at the craziness that is so evident in the sequels. I recommend viewing the film, to see where the franchise begins and because the film is highly entertaining. I recommend the film.
stdly2000 I saw the ratings and reviews for this movie but I enjoy allot of badly rated movies it is a bit of a joke with my wife, kids and family but this movie is the worst movie I have ever seen. I find it hard to believe it made it to film who wrote this piece of crap how you would even edit it. No plot, no script, bad editing bad acting? A man dressed like a bunny and kills with a chainsaw I finally got the bunny suit part after he took off the bunny head. He does have sidekicks some hunch back monkey boy with welding goggles on and of course a bitchy sister with a beauty complex? The victims are so stupid and do the dumbest things I have ever seen I guess none of them have ever watched a bad horror movie before. I was pulling for the Bunnyman to get them all just because they all deserved to die just for being idiots. I am sad to say I watched this piece of crap to the end and I am still not sure why, maybe I was hoping EVERYONE in the movie would die some how before the end? That's 82 minutes of my life I can never get back too bad!
