Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
Desertman84 This is the fourth installment of the Bring It On franchise. In this direct-to-video cheerleading teen movie,we get to see more about competitive cheerleading and a story based on the West Side Story with a forbidden romance happening between two rival teams. The story revolves around the rivalry between the cheerleading squads of West High Sharks and East High Jets with former led by Carson and the latter led by Brooke. They intend to join a national cheerleading competition championship but both squad lose their tempers which made the competition between the two only fiercer and later would have to face on a one-on-one cheerleading competition between two schools and would have to learn to settle their differences so as not to get disqualified.Despite having references from the classic 60's movie West Side Story,it did not help the story nor the movie's cause as it was clichéd and predictable.Although the cheers were decent and respectable,it does not equal the first film which happens to be a cult cheerleading classic movie.
ipselute What the hell is wrong with you, people? Are you blind or just completely stupid? This Bring It On 4 is a DISASTER. They should have skipped the number 4 just like they skip floor 13 on hi-rise buildings. Thanks Goodness for Christina Millian in Bring It On 5 or this whole B.I.O series would have died long time ago. What to say about B.I.O 4: all the actors sucks, especially the blondes. The cheer-dances are like nothing compared to the dances in the others B.I.O movies. The script is awful and the acting is even worst. There is absolutely no face to remember in this movie, not even the main character. Do you remember Hayden Panetierre in B.I.O 3? Or that HOT afro-American babe in B.I.O. 2(sorry, i don't remember her name)? Or even Kristen Dunst in the first B.I.O movie? I surely do. But this B.I.O 4 is like a complete void to me. I just finished watching it like just 5 minutes ago and i already forgot everything and everybody in it. Don't waste your time and money on this one, 'cause even if you do, you'll forget it all in less than 5 min. Guaranteed.
callanvass Well I'm at my 4th "Bring It On" viewing experience, now. A couple of them have been fun in a sense|namely the 1st and 3rd| but it's starting to grow tiresome,I mean how many more of these,do they need to make?. For starters the characters are incredibly fake, who are often easy to dislike, yet we are suppose to root for them,to win it all?. Ashley Benson aka Carson, who is supposed to be hero, happens to be just as unlikable, as her rival Cassie Scerbo, aka Brooke. There is no point to this film, the fact is the original was a light box office smash, that green lighted so many crappy DTV sequels, that it's appalling. The thrill is gone, the cheer leading sequences are often repetitive, except for a few at the end. I liked the Shets new routine at the end,it was a cool routine and pretty neat. The movie also tried hard to be be very lively, but it failed in that respect. The stereotyping is completely ridiculous. If your gonna make all these DTV sequels,at least put some quality into them, along with the effort, like number 3,or don't try at all. This film tries hard to inject meaning into the film, but giving us a bunch of grating blonde's,with mostly repetitive cheer sequences,Doesen't make entertainment,if you ask me.Performances. Ashley Benson is attractive,i'll give you that. But she can't act worth a lick,at least not in this film, anyway. Her character is whiny, unlikable and filled with clichéd stereotyping, that made me wanna slap her one. Cassie Scerbo is a laughably fake rival. She's way too over the top with her shtick, who came across as fake more then anything else. If that wasn't bad enough, the movie tries to make her likable in the end. Noel Areizaga is terribly unfunny as the cheerleader, who wants everyone to think he's gay. Jennifer Tisdale is a typical clichéd comic relief, who wants everyone to think she's sluttish, and dumb. Anniese Taylor Dendy has no depth as Aeysha. She does the typical black routine|Not that i'm racist, far from it| It's just the film makes her look stupid.Bottom Line. Bring It On: In it to win it,is a pretty boring experience for the most part. The thrill is clearly gone, while this film only aims to make the bucks. Recommended for the die hard cheer leading fanatics,or maybe teenage girls, but not for many other people.4/10
piratehunter I have seen all four of the Bring It On Movies and this was by far the worst one yet. The actress who plays Carson was the best in the movie and the other girls were barely tolerable to watch... a waste of a trip to blockbuster if you ask me.The plot is set out to be a modern day version of The West Side story, with the two sides coming together to succeed in the end. But bad acting, writing and costumes (these girls are young, but having them wearing two small of shorts resulting in "muffin top" is ridiculous) ruins the movie in the end. No wonder it was a straight to DVD film. Jennifer Tisdale should be ashamed of herself for choosing a part in this movie. She is too old to be playing the high school cheerleader ditz. It might be time to move onto a new career and leave the success to her little sister.
