Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
JinRoz For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
Matho The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
iamwhitewica First of all, we are VERY FAR from Bloodrayne, this is more a personal fantasy movie created for the author and no one else...well maybe teenagers in search of cheap, sleazy sex scene.A lot of the movie is spent showing you the actress body's and people abusing it many ways. This could actually be a soft-porn movie more than a horror flick. The only horror I saw is 2 people stuck on a train in route to Berlin to be killed publicly in front of Hitler; but they have time to f..k on the train! Of course, I don't want to die without f...ing a last time! (This is the trend since the 90's, put useless sex in any movie or situation so that teenagers (and perverts) can masturbate and rate your movie well, nothing to do with talents!)Anyway, if you like Bloodrayne; stick to the first and only real movie. The 2 other ones are really dumb and boring. Except if you want to jack off on cheap flicks.Time waster and surely an income deduction, nothing cinematographic about this "thing".
JoeB131 Sooner or later, Nazis always show up.Okay, Rayne, the immortal half-vampire (or Dhampir) is living through World War II, and the Nazis are overrunning Europe. So in the middle of a fight she joins for no good reason, she inadvertently turns a Nazi into a vampire like herself. And then you have poor Clint Howard (Opies lesser-loved brother) playing an evil Nazi Doctor who wants to make Hitler immortal. I guess that was a better deal for Der Fuhrer than those guys who just want to put his head into a jar, but I digress.Okay, this is Uwe Boll, and once again, the guy tries to put dialog in between his barely competent action sequences, and fails miserably. Also, the action scenes make not a lick of sense. Like if you just beat the snot out of a Nazi officer, do you REALLY stick around for a massage and girl-on-girl action? I think that these are scenes the director wanted to see, but no one else did.
GL84 Joining up with allies in WWII Germany, the half-human/half-vampire finds that one of her victims was a Nazi officer now bestowed with her powers and intends to use them in a plot to make Hitler immortal. An incredibly enjoyable and entertaining entry to an already fun and entertaining series, though this one doesn't reach the heights of the original. Still, this contains enough bloodshed, gore-drenched slaughters, limb-ripping and throat-slicing to give it a try, as there's a ton of blood in this including the other tortures inflicted on the vampires which adds more bloodshed. That's due to a high number of action scenes here as the confrontations with the different groups lead to a number of ambushes, firefights and martial arts displays that make for a pretty enjoyable time. As well, the increased amount of nudity certainly helps this one along, and altogether with a fast pace and enjoyable, simple story it gets a lot of good grace, only with the nagging problem of it's way too short running time to count as any sort of real flaw here. This is quite a bit of fun overall.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, Nudity and several intense lesbian sex scenes.
Jens Eickhoff As a German I cannot confirm that the German English accent sounded non German. That seemed actually quite accurate. I even thought that some of the actors, including the doctor, were German natives.I doubt that it was a good choice to use that as a stylistic means, though. I suppose people would have preferred the Nazis to speak German instead as in 'Inglorious Basterds'. So would I.The doctor's voice was obviously not the actor's real voice, disregarding the fake accent. It sounded highly unconvincing and so 'over the top' that it might have been okay for a theater performance but not for this or any movie.-the whole movie feels very stiff and heartless -the acting is partly okay but it is overall poorly directed and cut -the action scenes are weakly executed, they are basically very short clips, filmed separately, assembled into one scene to convey the disability of the actors to perform believable moves-the 'love scenes' are not terrible per se but do not contribute to or fit into the plot, especially the first one -the heroine's costume and her typical Gothic red, black hair make her looks quite stupid and far from 'cool'The most audacious part of this production is to turn it into a 70 minute movie (plus 10 minute credits). Low budget AND short? Uwe Boll is apparently making movies for money (not ripping of the audience but his financiers) and has apparently no love for this art form whatsoever.
