Alicia I love this movie so much
Micransix Crappy film
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
hampersnow-28905 I don't think this movie deserves all the very negative reviews it is receiving. The acting by Blake Jenner is pretty outstanding and Grant Harvey is also excellent. In this film about completely lost lower class hoodlums most of the roles are actually very well cast. There are some very well done, gritty, realistic and painful scenes. The problem is the screenplay by Mr Jenner really needed work and like so many mediocre movies nowadays, there needed to be more dialogue and less filler scenes, people dancing, walking and lying around. The settings were perfect, but the cutting back and forth from past to present and the scenes shown literally in reverse just came across as gimmicky. Taken as a whole, the movie though is tragically realistic on most points and what saved it for me were the very fine performances from most of the cast.
Michael Ledo Billy (Blake Jenner) is part of a gang of four that wears masks and hijacks automobiles, while robbing and beating the driver. Billy has an altercation with Mikey (Grant Harvey) a psychotic member of the group who takes things too far. Billy is slowly attempting to better himself, but isn't committed to the process. This is a story on how circumstances end up affecting our lives. Many boring scenes. The director liked using reverse film to show a memory, which it does a lot. Guide: F-word, sex, brief nudity.
adonis98-743-186503 When an angry teenager discovers a close friend has been killed, grief jeopardizes his future and he finds himself engulfed in danger. I was very excited when i learned that Billy Boy was going to be released since both Blake and Melissa are quite the talent and movies like Edge of Seventeen and Sun Dogs proved that but unfortunately this little 'Glee' reunion was a mess. Despite the efforts from the 2 leads and their beautiful romantic chemistry the movie was a mix of different genres with lots of awful acting from the rest of the cast, nudity that wasn't even needed and full of stupid backwards walking and running alongside flashbacks. Overall a big disappointment for me!! (4/10)
arffyoung-15223 I had been very interested in this film since it's announcement on Kickstart. A huge fan of Ms. Benoist, I wanted to see her in a story out of her normal realm of features. I wasn't dissapointed. This film is gritty and I found it easy to connect with the characters and their situations both good and bad. The ending was done quite well and unlike most Indie's doesn't leave you guessing as to the cause and effect of the character's actions.I found myself hoping for Billy to climb out of the situation(s) he found himself in. I watched it in a theater and later shared with friends from home. One film I will long remember. Good Job!!!!!
