Bill Nye is retiring his kid show act in a bid to become more like his late professor, astronomer Carl Sagan. Sagan dreamed of launching a spacecraft that could revolutionize interplanetary exploration. Bill sets out to accomplish Sagan's mission, but he is pulled away when he is challenged by evolution and climate change contrarians to defend the scientific consensus. Can Bill show the world why science matters in a culture increasingly indifferent to evidence?

Listonixio Fresh and Exciting
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
tsheldon-64322 A biographical piece on Bill Nye. It will probably be most entertaining to people that grew up on his show from the 90's. Creationism debate is featured prominently.
TMokko Very well made all in all. This documentary goes in to the personal details of Bill Nye, which we have not heard before. Like his dad was a whaler in New Zealand and mom was in the Enigma Project. This MAN, Bill Nye, bravely stands against ignorance and bigotry of Trump era. He is the bacon of hope in the grim and gold world.I heard that some Bill Nye haters and Trump voters, incluling Ken Hamm and Joe Bastardi, will be down voting this document - even without seeing it. Those bastardis! I beg all who appreciate and understand the importance of SCIENCE to pull their forces together and fight back!DRG
kingfishercatchfire A really great film which tells us more about Bill Nye then and now, and tells more by showing and letting Bill talk, rather than documentary makers putting themselves in (it's a particular style of storytelling, and the film works quite nicely). I want to be a science communicator, and honestly this film just made me want to jump right in and teach. I love it!
dianaswatson This is a great documentary that helps to get to know a man that we've only known of for decades. It shows Bill not only as "The Science Guy" we all know, but as a human being with all the flaws and attributes we all have. Highly recommended.
