Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film

Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

meganweaver-72582 Richard Linklater is a talented filmmaker and Before Sunrise is his ode to romance using themes and techniques he would go on to use often in his films. It takes place in real time as we meet jessie and Celine played by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy respectively. This is one of the most amazing chemistry in a major motion picture and kudos must go to the actors as much as the director. We follow these two all across Vienna and by the end of the film we totally relate to many things. Before Sunrise led to two great sequels which take place in real time and were shot in real time also(as in all the three films were filmed in a span of 18 years). This is art right here.

yasirjunejo It is great and nice movie.have so many of feelings .the movie proves that you don't need to be in a relationship to enjoy with someone who can make your day and nights as a great memory.movie tells that it is not a necessary to be in a relationship to enjoy your best part of your life.over all good movie.but one thing wondered me and left me speechless about the poem writer guy.....he wrote such an incredible poem for them....movie has so many feelings.specially the end was so beautiful.they vowed they will be back after 6 months.can't wait to see "before sunset".

thedarkknight-99999 That's how to write a very smart and sophisticated dialogue for such a simple story.I loved the way the conversations are so realistic because they don't seem to connect to each other and that's exactly what we do when we move from a topic to another. The dialogue is thought-provoking and very very entertaining.Of course, without the compelling performances from Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy I wouldn't relate to their characters as much as I did.Before Sunrise proves that Richard Linklater is actually superior to Woody Allen even at his best.I wish if I could be convinced how they get to know each other that fast or how they keep talking to each other all the day long just a little more than I did.Undeniably, Before Sunrise is one of the best romantic films of all time. (9/10)

alxunderkouts maybe a SPOILER ALERT(not sure yet)...I have seen a couple of hundred of movies, but this very first time I started writing my first ever review for a film.I was so touched and seduced and at the same time I was identified myself with this movie,that I almost saw me in Ethan Hawke's face...All these wonderings about the future, all these searches for our answers in the philosophical questions that we put during our early adult life,our seek for a woman or a man (respectively)that will understand our demons, our passions, our weaknesses, our wantings, our problem of difference about how we see life and how the rest of the people do, this desire to get to know a person without her/him making quick/wrong deductions about ourselves and of her/him listening carefully and with fully interest of what we have to say,ALL THESE SPECIAL THINGS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ROMANTIC WITH A REALISTIC WAY FILM that gives you the opportunity of emphasizing that you have to seek and find your girl or boy that entirely has the same joy for exploring the life and love.Also a remarkable message from this movie is that in whatever they did in their journey, they did it while they were talking about interesting philosophical stuff or relevant life experiences, that's why these things that they did would be unforgettable and significant for them!!!!! CONGRATULATION to the whole crew that made this movie a reality and that we have this gem today!!!
