XoWizIama Excellent adaptation.
Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Michael Ledo Jack Justice (Tommy 'Tiny' Lister) is an LAPD police officer who is forced to take leave after he goes berserk over the guy who shot his partner. Jack happens by Red Mesa, Texas a town filled with dirty cops and a sheriff (John Schneider) who makes Sheriff Joe Arpaio look like sissy liberal vomit. While in town he witnesses police brutality and ends up getting involved in cleaning up the town of dishonest cops. This movie is so bad I enjoyed it. The acting was crap. The plot was idiotic. The cops and dialogue were somewhat over-the-top which made me laugh, especially Lister as he delivers his tough guy lines. Some lines from the film:Lister: "I'm good at killing." Lister: "I would like to file a complaint." Lister "I am Jaws." Lister "What is Barny Rubble's son's name? Sheriff "I want you to make smores." Lister: "I make problems disappear."The film opens with a Miami Vice style sound track during a really bad looking chase scene. Eventually we shift to grindhouse style killings and some hand to hand fighting which needed work. For fans of bad acting action films of Seagal and Austin, there is now Lister.Guide: F-bomb. No sex or nudity.
kosmasp Very plain in its depiction of good and evil (although the actions of "good guy" Tonys character are questionable to say the least, Anger Management anyone?), which makes "a character twist" towards the end seem completely out of place. It's not a big one either. Also the mix, between veteran actors and some .. let's say beginners, is a bit crazy to say the least.John Schneider is really good in this, though you wonder how Tony got in this. Not many expressions he actually have to convey, his emotional range seems to even undermine a Steven Seagal character. The revenge thing or one against all (almost) kind of heads into that general direction too.
bryanmay204 Very entertaining. It was good to see veteran actors John Schneider and James Russo. This film reminded me of the 80's action films with the disgraced cop on the run theme. Plenty of one liners and OK acting but great warmup movie if you're watching a double feature. One of the funniest quote from this film is from Tiny Lister, he was talking to John Schneider character expressing to him "The problem is you think you got Flipper in here but, m$@#&%¿* say hello to Jaws!" This may be Tiny Lister's first appearance on the small screen in a while and maybe this is a possible reboot to his action genre films..no matter I'll be on the look out for more from Tiny..Hopefully he'll return to the Friday movies when or if they bring it back..most important Welcome Back Tiny!!
alexralston-37082 Every cliché in the first 15 minutes just awful. Even a bad movie can be watchable if the characters are at least believable.the long haired ninja cop finished this piece of garbage for me.I have to blame the director I suppose.....the acting was straight out of B movie school....laughable. It's a shame really as the story line could have worked out and it could have been a reasonably good action type movie but alas too much wrong from the beginning.....back to school on this one folks......... Maybe on a cold rainy night with absolutely no choice, but there again...........maybe not..a good book and a large scotch would be better.
