Reviews

Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Cortechba Overrated
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
itgirlx This documentary plays much more like Reality Show that could be called, "How Codependent Are You?" The people observed are genuinely ill in some way or another and they get little to no help or direction from Western medicine are are left to fend for themselves with mostly charlatan characters. Meanwhile, their care-givers wander minefields of eggshells trying to assist ill people who often feel desperate. It ends up with very codependent relationships where no one is getting their needs met. Cameras documenting these awful situations may be exacerbating the codependent dynamics and do not go unnoticed. Communication, therapy and new modalities, alternative and complementary medicine must be part of the equation for this and all patients. Illness doesn't always fit into a nice, little box. This film does nothing to further the conversation; it just makes everyone look a bit crazy.
David Elbaz I'm sorry but if a person, in this case Jake, is suffering from symptoms that fit Lyme disease and accept the possibility that this is the case but then opts to get treated with Homeopathy rather than with known western medicine treatment that actually cures Lyme, then it is difficult to take their cases seriously. somehow the credit that the directors are giving to some of these people seems exaggerated, i think facts needs to be checked a little deeper before bringing up these questions on such a big stage.
bizzywiththefizzy Came on the Horror Channel and decided to give it a go, turned out to be good fun.In a nutshell, terminally ill guy and friend go on holiday to Europe and document everything on camera and upload it to the net.Terminally ill guy meets a girl in Paris, spends the night with her, she smacks him about and hilarity ensues.Super powers (very 'Chronicle' style tests of speed, strength, etc) and testing of tolerable food/eventually types of blood quickly lead the guys to the conclusion that the hero is a vamp.Kind of loses momentum after a while - I did kind of dig the concept of deterioration, where Derek starts turning feral due to hunger, a la 'Daywalkers', but it could have done a lot more.Great fun though, and well worth a go if you're a vamp-lore aficionado.
pmaheadquarters This movie wasn't great and obviously borrowed from some other films but overall I found the story interesting and the characters engaging.Special kudos for the special effects. Talk about getting the most out of a limited budget. Would like to see more from the makers of this film.
