This is Ch.3's biggest project as a Ch.3 40 years celebration. It's a lakorn serie consisting of 4 separate but intertwining lakorns: "Thara Himalai", "Duangjai Akkanee", "Pathapee Leh Ruk", and "Wayupak Montra". It is based from a series of 4 books by the same name and uses the same casts for all 4 lakorns.
The 4 lakorns can be separated into different pages, but I think it's better to leave them all in the same page because they're part of one single series.

Noon Woranuch and ‘Aum’ Patcharapa Chaichue’s comedy slash revenge lakorn “Kulap Neua Mek (Roses Above the Clouds or Temptations of the roses)” is premiering this coming Monday, December 21, 2009 and I’m hyped. In the lakorn, Noon and Aum play two former bosom buddies who turn into foes. Noon plays Oranut, a wealthy young woman who betrayed her friend Airin by kicking her out of the magazine company (”Working Women”) they started together and Alin’s fiance for her younger sister. Airin was so devastated after the betrayal, she vowed to bring down Oranut’s magazine company and to steal Oranut’s man if she was dating someone. Airin starts up the “Chic Women” magazine to compete with Oranut’s “Working Women” magazine and pursues Anawin, the guy that Oranut knew since college.
Ken is Tula, he is married to Lanaree (Anne). Tula is a man who is confident in love, as for Lanaree, not so much. Lanaree is described as boisterous, self-centered, kinda like Alin from “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)”.
One day, Lanaree had her fortune read by a roadside psychic. The psychic tells her that she and Tula will break up. She doesn’t believe the psychic, so the psychic gives her an old notebook and instructs her to put it under her pillow when she sleeps. When she wakes, she will find out if the prediction that her marriage will end in divorce is true.
For several days, Lanaree is very stressed out by the psychic’s prediction and she doesn’t want to believe it and rationalized that the psychic is old and is probably mentally distorted. Nonetheless, she decides to do what the psychic instructed and place the notebook under her pillow before she went to bed.
The next day, she wakes up to find herself not at her house with Tula but at her mother’s house. She checks the calender, it’s the correct month and day. But wait, it’s a year ahead. Eventually, Lanaree learns that a year ago, Tula and herself fought severely about something to the point where she packed up her stuff and she moved back in with her mother.
Om’s character is Nol Ratsamee, a heartbroken, woman hating, completely introverted, angry, handsome young man. His former girlfriend screwed him over and left him for his best friend and took his money. His depressive state and views on love and women, garners the attention of his younger sister who is very concern, so she teams up with her bubbly/cheerful best friend Reuangrin Narokmon (Rin) played by Jui Warattaya to find him a girl and to make him be ‘happy’ again. Reungrin moves into their home as maidservant to get close to Om, to know his habits and likes, so that she can play his matchmaker. But a problem arises, Reuangrin begins to fall for Nol.
Nong Sai loved and adored Pada like a hero. Though he went to study aboard for 10 years, her feelings for him never faltered. She never forgot and waited for him to return. Even when a young flight officer Samit Kanjonrat (”TengNeung” Kritnagan Maneepagaphan) fell in love with her, she rejected him to remain true to Pada.
Seeing his daughter wait and long for Pada, Khun Win Sinwit remembered an agreement he had with General Pat to have Nong Sai and Pada wed to erase a 80 million baht (2.5 million USD) debt owed by General Pat to Khun Win. Khun Ying Amporn, Pada’s mother, was very worried about this debt. She feared losing her house, losing her fortune, so she ordered her son Pada to come back and marry Nong Sai immediately. One problem, Pada is already married to Chomphilai (”Yok” Thanyakan Thongitthananon).
When Khun Win announces he is ill and only had 1 year to live, Khun Ying Amporn uses this opportunity as a bargaining point to beg Chomphilai to divorce Pada for just one year. If not, Pada will lose his entire fortune, so Chomphilai agreed to divorce Pada.
After Pada and Nong Sai wed, Pada takes good care of Nong Sai. However, he does not touch her. When she finds a good man who will love her truly, he vows to divorce her.
In the marriage, Nong Sai had to endure many things– ill-treatment from Khun Ying Amporn and bullying from Chomphilai. Gradually, Pada began to feel the love and concern Nong Sai had for him, he is shaken by it and too started to develop feelings for her. When Chomphilai notices this, she sent her older brother Chalermchai (”Nam” Rapeepat Akekapunkul) to her pursue Nong Sai to make her lose her way.
Nong Sai leaves Pada's house after they argued and she felt betrayed by him. So, Khun Win sent Nong Sai to receive treatment aboard. Gradually she got better and learned to walk. Khun Ying Amporn was livid when she learned she had been deceived, she ordered her son Pada to divorce Nong Sai right away, but he refused giving his mother the excuse that he wanted to keep the promise he gave to Khun Win. Truthfully, it was a cover, Pada had fallen in love with Nong Sai and he did not want to lose her.
As Pada became more interested, more engrossed with Nong Sai, it caused Chomphilai to stray. She started seeing her ex-hubby/ex-boyfriend Boontheert. They began to have a sexual affair and there is a sex tape to prove that they did.
Throughout his marriage to Nong Sai, Khun Ying Amporn reminded Pada that he has Chomphilai, she loves him dearly and he should not think too much of Nong Sai. Hearing this from this mother constantly , Pada made the decision to end it with Nong Sai and get back with Chomphilai after she tells him that she is pregnant with his child.
With Nong Sai, when she learned that Pada was once married to Chomphilai and they divorced because of her, she was devastated and asked Pada for a divorce to which he agreed.
After the divorce, Nong Sai moved back to her house at the farm. She agreed to marry Smith Kanjonrat to forget about Pada.
Soon after, Pada breaks up with Chomphilai when he learned that she had a sexual affair with her ex-boyfriend Boontheert. Chomphilai blamed her break up with Pada on Nong Sai instead of herself and ordered her brother Chalermchai to kill Nong Sai. When Pada learned of their plans, he goes to find Nong Sai to save her, to protect her.
Nang’ek played by “Poo” Praiya Suandokmai is an out of luck, poor, orphan girl raised by her money-hungry foster mom (Apiradee Pawaputanon), who has a spoiled brat daughter played by “Mint” Nawinda Bertotti. Her foster mom also has a no-good, rapist wannabe boyfriend played by Tharathip Seehadetrungchai (yea, I don’t know who that is), who on occasion will try to assault our nang’ek Rasa.
Our nang’ek is the ultimate “nangfah (angel)”, she is a diligent worker–values education, values hard-work, kind to others, innocent, virginal, not too shabby on the eyes. Though they treat her as an ATM machine, she refuses to abandon her makeshift, foster family because she feels indebted to them. Soon after her mother passed away so did her father, her foster mother took her in when she had no one to turn to. She feels a moral obligation to her evil foster mom who on many occasions will abuse and take advantage of her. Essentially our nang’ek will be a weak, kindhearted, idiot with spunk.
As for our pra’ek Akrin, played by ‘Stefan’ Tasit Sinkanawiwat, he is described as a good-looking, rich playboy with charm. He is a heir to a well-known fitness complex called M Fitness. Akrin sees women has a plaything and love as a game. His grandfather Amnat (Khun Suchao Pongwilai) is fed up with his immature, careless, insincere lifestyle and wants him to get married. If he doesn’t get marry by a certain time, he won’t inherit M Fitness. It will be given to his competitive sister Ornuma (Prae Amery) who also has to get marry if she wants to inherit the family business.
As the the marriage deadline slowly approaches and he doesn’t like any of his potential brides, Akrin decides to hire someone as his bride. He hires Rasa, the girl he likes and the only girl in Thailand who has the audacity to reject him every time he makes a move on her. Their marriage will be a sham, it will be for on year and he will pay her 2 million baht ($66,766 USD) total. He will give her 1 million baht at the beginning of their marriage and 1 million baht at the end of their marriage. Rasa accept his offer because she needs the money. Around that time, her foster mother finds herself in the hospital and needs immediate surgery. Thus this is how their life together begins through a fake marriage.
“Wiwaa Wa Woon” is a romantic comedy about a rich playboy name Pavee (Ken Theeeradeth), who is swindled into marriage by Airada (Chompoo Araya), a fortune teller, for his money. If he divorces her first, he has to pay her 40 million baht ($1.2 million USD). If she can’t tolerate him and divorces him first, he doesn’t have to pay her a dime. Their marriage becomes a competition or a declaration of war, who will make the other person break first and have that person file for a divorce. Airada wants that 40 million baht, Pavee wants his freedom without losing his fortune. On the sidelines, they have their parents who want them to stay together. Then there are Mesa and Toon, a sibling pair, who want them broken up.
