ShangLuda Admirable film.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Frances Chung Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
jayjaysaldana I loved this show. The cast had great chemistry. There were many storylines that had potential. The problem with the show was it's time slot. It was up against MUST SEE TV on NBC and THE WORLD SERIES on FOX. The show probably would have done better on another network as well. Although only 3 episodes aired it left a good impression. I Would have loved to be able to see all 13 episodes that were taped. Great show!
Angel001 I absolutely love this show. I'm not sure if it'll be coming back, but I wish I had the three episodes that aired on tape. It's a show that those of us who are in our 20's or right out of college can absolutely relate to. It's about finding your way and trying to discover what you want to do. Maybe not as a permanent career, but to get over the awkwardness over being outta school and not yet considering yourself a "grown-up." If you were to sit down and watch it, you would probably find yourself relating to each character in a little way. Dawnie was the over-analytical one who is waiting for the right time to lose her virginity; Sam the one who tries to lose her Southern accent to move forward; Ty was the one true love of Dawnie's life who is just trying to make ends meet; Vandy is the sweet, lovable musician who is barely scraping by; Jesse is the tough-as-nails career woman who is afraid of being vulnerable; Russell is the guy who's afraid of being outed of his personal life and his role as hunk-du-jour on a soap opera. Each character is wonderfully vulnerable, miserable, despicable and lovable at the same time.
MovieFan983 I was extremely disappointed with this new show. Dawnsons Creek is a great show and this just was nothing. There was no plot, the characters were under-developed and all-in-all a waste of time. I would give it a 3 out of 10. TV-14 for sexuality, language and brief nudity.
Bob__Loblaw What a horrible show! How can a man who wrote incredible dialogue for the 2 "Scream" movies, and "The Faculty", put out such a big load of dung? I was so looking forward to seeing "Wasteland" and it is so depressing. The characters were so boring and shallow, maybe the actors are just bad. I know Mr. Williamson has great talent. He should look back at his old movies for the intelligent writing he is capable of. I am looking forward to more things by Mr. Williamson, and I am sure he will be successful. It is the opposite of the David E. Kelley thing. Mr. Kelley writes the best shows on TV, but can't seem to write a movie. Kevin writes great movies, but loses it on TV. I see a partnership possibility.
