Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Derrick Gibbons An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
David del Real ___Thundercats 2011___---The Thundercats Remake!!!---It was the middle 1980´s when kids around the world went...----"THUNDER....THUNDER....THUNDER....THUNDERCATSSS H000000..."----for the first time during the recess at school, Two decades and a half later, an interesting remake featuring many of the original elements but adding new interesting characteristics to the plot arrived to the screens and even when it was not as successful as its predecessor, it granted us some episodes that will remain jewels to the cartoon enthusiasts of all ages. Either if we are talking about the original 80´s version or the 2011 remake, the Thundercats are an important part of our pop culture and a very rich set of stories that takes us from Eastern tales to the Ancient Egyptian Culture and from the Outer Space to faraway dimensions.David del Real. 2018.
laurencelefavour I would give it a 10 out of 10 but they never finished the series. They left it open ended, leaving us to want to see more and never getting it. At least the original series finished properly. I watched the entire series. Thunder cats is my favorite cartoon of all time but the original is better than the sequel. If they ever make a second season I will write a better review next time.
Faheem Ahmed This new series of the Thundercats is epic, fast paced and seems as though it will be following the storyline of Lion-O's journey to find the Book Of Omens. Its characters are sure to undergo crisis and change, and if there isn't an awkward love triangle between Lion-O, Tigra and Cheetara then I will be surprised. All of the familiar elements have been rewoven into this and will allow old fans to spot all of the nods to the original cartoon. It feels like a reworking of Lord of the Rings, with Lion-O as Frodo, gathering his team around him as heads off on his mission to save Thundera. The best part of all is that this is not a remake. It really is a reboot. Which will hopefully allow me to keep the classic rendition of the Thundercats in my heart just as they are, and still enjoy the action-packed adventures of the modern retelling. I am looking forward to seeing more. Mind you... all of this came from a Thundercats fan and you need to be warned. We can be a strange lot:
Rectangular_businessman I think that it's a shame that some viewers dismiss this series only for the art style (Which in my opinion is pretty well done) because this is a very good remake, which keeps the essence of the original cartoon, adapting to the modern sensibilities, without dumbing it down. This new series kept all the fun of the original cartoon, with the classic conflict of good against evil, but adding more shades of gray to the story in order to make it more complex and ambitious, being at the same time pretty entertaining and easy to follow. The animation is quite good, having a high level of quality through the whole series, I like very much the new designs, which, despite the superficial differences, have the essence of their original counterparts. The personalities of the characters are now a bit complex, though in many ways, the dynamic between the heroes is basically the same. Some elements of romance and familiar conflicts were added, but that doesn't affect negatively the development of the story. If anything, those elements made it more interesting and much less predictable. This first season of this new version of the "Thundercats" is worth-watching, having many virtues to be taken in consideration. I hope the next season keep this same level of quality. I highly recommend it.
