Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

jclugoholt It's a great way to teach us that people with some special issues can do anything that a "normal" person can do. Great writing, wonderful crew, and the leader actor is just amazing. For me it's an emotional and very touching show with the drama of a O.R. and the Hospital cases have. I hope it has more and more seasons. If you haven't watched it, you should give it a tried.

nora-prigorowsky I got my hopes up because of the high rating on this site, and because I love House. However this show has super bad script, awkward acting and nothing is believable. I rated it 3 because I've seen worse, and could probably watch a few episodes out of boredom. But donät get fooled by the high score on IMDB.

patm77 I wasn't sure I'd like this show, but Freddy Highmore's performance is just brilliant. The show is interesting, funny at times, and heartwarming. Totally worth watching.

HeidiHitchcock Freddie Highmore is amazing in this role! Any moments with him learning about how to relate in the world or with Glassman or Leah were superb! He expresses so much emotion in a face that that doesn't/can't. There are small things that are noticeable like some review say, but the overall heart and emotion wins over all that! David Shore, and the team are doing a brilliant job with this show! My one other criticism is to get rid of Fiona's character or bring that type of character back when Shaun is more acclimated into the hospital and dealing with people.
