That was an excellent one.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

I've just watched both seasons and I am disappointed that it was only two seasons. The acting was superb, the characters were very believable... Its a really good show. But some stories have a natural end..

"Shonda Does a Caper Show!" I'm sure all the women involved in this show have jumped on the MEEETOOO!!! bandwagon. So where does this silly show fit into their self-righteous worldview? (Or any of Rhimes' tv shows, for that matter.) Co-workers having sex. Having sex with clients. Having sex with the bad guys. Having sex with shady characters. Having sex with pretty much anyone who walks across the screen. Shonda just cannot tell a story without the pretty people ending up in bed together - for really no reason at all beyond entertainment. Aren't these the women who were so shocked - SHOCKED - that men in the entertainment business have sex with willing starlets?

Not seeing the first season of 'The Catch', I paid careful attention to the recap of last season at the beginning of the episode. With that and viewing the first 30 minutes of this show, I'm trying to figure out why it was ever renewed. 'The Catch' must be geared to a certain demographic with very low standards for both interesting story lines and quality acting. Moronic dialogue, cheesy plot lines...and the WORST fake city backdrop I've ever seen. Seriously, high school drama clubs make more professional scenery than was done for this show. Just awful.

I really enjoyed the show in the beginning but I don't care much for where the first season ended up. At first it was about the relationship between a man and woman and had a lot of intrigue surrounding their relationship. Last few episodes of season 1 it suddenly switches gears and started throwing in a bunch of characters with a bunch of complications and has gotten too ridiculous and too much into mobster type activity. It's become too much. Don't we have enough of those kinds of shows already? I intend to finish out the season and hope that season 2 will get be better without people's lives being threatened every time you turn around.
