Necrom8 Since practically everyone gave this series a good review I though I would try to watch It. I didn't watch much, I watched some parts of It and I though It was really doll and boring.The worst thing is that I can't even complain much about It because there is not much to complain about.It's like watching one long conversation between 2 or more people where they mostly bitch and swear. The comedy isn't very developed and the acting is below average. You constantly hear pointless lines that were intended to be funny but which are not. What I really hate about this movie is the beginnings where they say staff like ..There are a few people in this series, that guy who committed suicide, that guy who is retarded and that guy who was ones arrested''. Or even worse when they say ..they say people should educate the young generation but that's a lot of bullshit cause they will still be robbers and rapists in the future''.It's really annoying.really nice lesson for the kids guys. Even through there are definitely worse things on TV It still doesn't makes It good.

Sulla-2 I have just started watching this series from the start. I acknowledge that it is excellent drama, well acted and very funny. However, it saddens me that there are men about like Frank Gallagher who have never done a days work in their lives and expect society to support both him and his family. The series in set on a fictional housing estate named after one of the most well to do stately homes in the UK, Chatsworth. The state is both new and run down at the same time. Although Frank is supposed to be the hero, I could never regard him as such, although his daughter Fiona is the heroine. Frank is so awful that he nearly becomes likable.

thomasx7 Shameless is the funniest show on TV. The Gallagher kids have a chronic drunk as a father and a self-pitying mother who deserted them, instead of falling apart they have successfully stayed together and retained a close bond. It would be so easy to have made a show using the same characters and turned it into some sad soap opera portraying them as depressed poverty stricken people who would never achieve anything, instead all the characters are intelligent, extremely funny, creative and determined to succeed. Reading this back it doesn't do the show justice - you need to see it to appreciate it. Its hard to even to be mad at Frank who can be such a jerk but obviously loves his kids and Sheilia who is very kind and as nutty as a fruit cake. The neighbours Kev, Veronica and Marty are the best neighbours you could get (I'd love to live in their neighbourhood). People who are offended by bad language, sex and naked bums should go and get a life. You can not miss this show its the best of the best of the best.
