Synopsis

Bizarre things start happening in the little New Mexico town where UFOs were spotted in 1947. Cut to 1999, when a cute high-school student saves the life of a teenage waitress. Surrounded by cliques of clever, angst-filled classmates, the two form a bond that threatens the survival of a secret universe involving superhuman powers, a yen for hot sauce and an alien gene pool.

Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Limerculer A waste of 90 minutes of my life
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Kirpianuscus for me - a kind of revelation. for discover talented young actors. for the seductive, gentle story. for an interesting view about UFO theme. and for the choice of teenagers to translate old intentions and fears and hopes of human race. sure, it is far to be a classic. but it has enough to seduce. or to suggest questions about fundamental problems. or to give the right tone to understand life as miracle. a lot of clichés are easy to not give enthusiasm about it. but it is a good work. maybe special. for atmosphere and for the new perspective about a civilization who preserves crumbs from the legends about demigods. so, Roswell.
pjackx I give this show an 8 with clarifications...The first year of the show was written and directed well. It reels you in... and after that... the show is hit and miss. Just by looking at IMDb, there were way too many directors and writers to have any continuity in quality and style. I particularly found the on-camera narrations/summaries of prior series starting with season 2 to be quite awkward or hokey. It seemed like everyone fell in love with the first season and then everyone wanted to direct an episode after that... err something like that.All-in-all... a great series to re-watch or discover for the first time on Netflix!
GoBATB The only reason I'm not giving a 10/10 is because it took me awhile to really get into it (longer than most shows). About 5 episodes in was when I really got hooked. Maybe it was the fact that this show is from the 90's or just the whole alien atmosphere of Roswell was kind of hard to get into at first.BUT MAN I tell ya! This is a really great show. I'm watching it on Netflix but I'm considering buying it on Amazon just because it's that good.Max and Liz's chemistry is so intense, like the best chemistry I have seen for a TV couple (other than VinCat in Beauty and the Beast). I may have zoomed through parts of the second season to get to the Maz/Liz scenes haha since most of that season was Max/Tess (that sucked). Seriously though, those two have good chemistry. Also, could Jason Behr be any hotter? In the beginning of season 1 I thought he was really nerdy and kind of greasy but by the time season 2 rolled around, DAMN.This show is great, mostly in the romance department but there's a lot else going on too. I tuned in for the romance but there's some action, lots of good relationships that build throughout the show (not just romantic relationships) and the character development really keeps you interested. Max from season 1 to Max in season 3 is like WHOA; looks wise, acting wise, character wise it's amazing. Really impressed with his performance.I really can't say enough about this show. I was VERY hesitant at first since it is old school from the 90's and about aliens but this show is so much more than that. Really glad I stuck with it after those first few episodes. Max and Liz FTW.
ryansoxbattleon After listening to a podcast that reviewed TV show pilot episodes their podcast season 1 finale was the only show I have never seen and it was called Roswell. Well first off I had to listen to the podcast then google it and found in on netflix streaming. Well I finished the series (3 seasons) in 2 weeks and I loved every minute. Season 1 was the strongest with the greatest story and then it felt like Season 3 wasn't done as well (also was a shorter season only 18 episodes). I don't know the exact reasons why/how the show ended but they definitely could of done another season ending the story.
