anticwarfare all i can say about this TV series is that my heart breaks when i found out that it was cancelled. so..... fox, pleas bring back Point Pleasant. all of the actors are so talented,all of them, i don't get why fox cancelled the show, maybe not many people tuned in to the program when it was on because they don't know that program and its new and fox did not give any chance for the show to gain some popularities, already after 1 year of its premier release, the show has gain quite a lot of fans worldwide judging from votes on this websites and the comments. so i am very sad that this TV series is cancelled. fox, please bring it back. FOX BRING BACK POINT PLEASANT!!!!!!!!

millencolin-3 I am not really sure why FOX cancels good TV-shows, just like the lost the rights on "The Shield "series, like "Firefly" and "Point Pleasant"...I mean , I always thought that this television series had some Stephen King kind of vibe on it..I guess the main reason for canceling a show is :"The viewers".When they don't reach the amount of viewers they want to reach then it is easy to say in the heat of the moment:"Let's cancel the show, it doesn't matter if it is a good show or finished or something..Just cancel the thing".They really don't have got a reason for canceling it and that hurts for both the fans and the Cast/Crew working on it. 'Cause the Cast/crew has put their entire effort in making these good shows, so they are more involved when it gets canceled and I guess that it hurts just as much for them then it is for a mother who has lost their Newborn child..The management of those companies don't think about that when they cancel it , and believe it or not I just have come to know of this shows existence (just released in the Netherlands)and as I should have known that It got canceled because I never heard of this show. Now comes the worst : I just ordered that DVD-box of this supposedly great show and now I know that it is only a half season.I just got one question for Fox Television Entermaint: "Why do you always rip-off people? This show has not even finished its 1st season and now the fans are longing for a comeback or just finish the show for the fans sake..You , Fox, are always doing this sh*t. Take "The Shield" , not made by FOX, for example I got the 1st and 2nd season but because SPHE lost the right's over this show , we The fans in The Netherlands are longing for those others seasons but those are never going to be released here.And then you, FOX and other companies, start complaining about the piracy problem that the industry is having..Well, i can understand that those who download stuff are 2 longing for those TV-series that are never going to be released in their countries. FOX and others SHAME ON YOU!!Piracy is A Crime?!?!??? And Ripping off people , isn't that a crime too??? Because that's what FOX and other TV companies are doing these days.. I'm a huge TV and movie fan and my collection reaches over a 1600 bought movies, both VHS and DVD.. And now I and other fans are complaining and NOT about PIRACY but About FINISHING GOOD TV SHOWS SO THAT WE CAN END THOSE COLLECTIONS 2Cheers,

skooshie I wonder why it is here in America that when ever we get a decent show the idiot networks cancel it. Everything from Harsh Realm to American Gothic. Shows that are witty and well written and you actually enjoy watching. Instead we get the Americanized versions of reality shows (and yes the European versions are usually a whole lot better). This show was in now way perfect but was moving along at a very nice pace and could have been really good if they had just finished it. I do not understand why corporate execs think that we here in this country can not think on our own and when we finally get a show that might be even the tiniest smidgen of controversial (especially with religious overtones) the networks yank it. I understand the this is a Christian (haha) country but gives us a break. Those of us that actually like to keep an open mind do not seem to get a break from the rest of the country. PLEASE Give us good TV for a change.
