Husband Luke has moved out of the house, and teenage daughter Maddie is acting out, wracked with grief and an as-yet unexplained guilt over her brother's death. Their lives change for ever when Rosalie meets Jed - a charismatic young man - at bereavement counselling.

She arrives home to something of an ambush when Luke admits he wants Jed to move into Rob's old room while he is away. Later, Maddie spirals further out of control, and Rosalie is torn between protecting herself from temptation and keeping Maddie safe.

Synopsis

Following the loss of their son, Rosalie and Luke find their marriage under immense strain. Jed rekindles a hope for the future within the Douglas household. But underneath, a deadly and morally corrupt triangle is taking shape.

Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
