stsman-1 Did I miss seeing who Foster Farrell VII is/was. Big Foster is VI, Li'l Foster is VIII, so who is VII? Don't think this is supposed to be a reality show. I enjoy it because it isn't a dopey sitcom with a stupid laugh track, which is another way of saying "you aren't smart enough to know when to laugh so we will show you"

ExiledInCali Where to begin with this drek? The ridiculous costumes? These seem to be a mish mash of Max Max, Braveheat, and WWE. The plot is Theunrealistic and infantile. If a major coal company was being held up by these type of antics, the state police would be sent in. Murder. Kidnapping. Violence in the town. thievery. I don't understand what makes these cretins appealing. Oh, did I forget to mention inbreeding? The sheer stupidity of this series beggars belief. Also the acting is to say the least, pedestrian. I can't imagine that the good people of Eastern Kentucky are happy with this portrayal. To each his own.

Shelley Blank Wain This show is completely different than anything that has been on TV. Every episode is action packed and exciting. Love it's a mix of drama and can make you laugh at times, especially Wade. It's a mix of Sons of Anarchy, Mad Max & Justified on the mountain. My family & friends loves it! Highly recommend!!!

legomanyacts If you enjoyed either Sons of Anarchy and/or Lost, then you're in for a treat with Outsiders. This series brings in the best elements of both of these series. Sons of Anarchy elements are brotherhood, loyalty and betrayal. Lost is the unexpected twists in the multiple story lines and sometimes the writers are intentionally throwing you off course. There is a lot of slight-of-hand, so little details can seem trivial in the moment, but have purpose later on.Overall, the character development is well-written, along with the multiple story lines that contribute towards the overarching story of the clan versus society. It is suspenseful and a new type of story that I really enjoyed.The characters were developed enough that I was convinced it had to be based on real events. I even googled mountain people in Appalachia... I was really hoping there were clans up in those mountains still. Sadly, it is just really good fiction. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!
