Synopsis

Neighbours is an Australian television soap opera. The show's storylines concern the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in Erinsborough, a fictional suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The series primarily centres around the residents of Ramsay Street, a short cul-de-sac, and its neighbouring areas, the Lassiters complex, which includes a bar, hotel, cafe, news office and park. Neighbours began with three families created by Watson – the Ramsays, the Robinsons and the Clarkes. Watson said that he wanted to show three families who are friends living in a small street. The Robinsons and the Ramsays had a long history and were involved in an ongoing rivalry.

Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Toxicwasteland Neighbours is a fantastic situation comedy, huge in all areas, such as cast, episodes and laughs. Neighbours was so real it felt as if you were sitting next to the regular barflys of the most endearing watering hole in TV history.Neighbours is a sitcom that deserves to be remembered as a classic. Hopefully, in twenty years from now, it will still be doing the rounds on cable TV. Only time will tell. The characters are so well-rounded that the joy comes simply from watching them interact. As far as I can remember almost every episode of Neighbours ended with someone smiling or laughing, and it's that sense of warmth that is so rare in television, that it makes Neighbours stand tall amongst any competitor, then OR now. I feel wholly justified in calling Neighbours the best program ever made. It's just that good.
natsta_1 Well, for a start, I'm a Home And Away/Neighbours freak loll, cant miss an episode, i work 5 days a week starting at 10am and finishing at 7pm which sucks because if i don't get my boyfriend to record both the shows, then i miss em, and I'm NOT HAPPY JAN loll.Anyways what i was going to say is that, some of the characters BIOS, aka their dates they been on the show are wrong. For example: Stingrays date says that his still on the show now in 2008, when its a new season and he died last year in the show.....So can you see what I'm meaning!!!!!!!So i was thinking can we fix this please loll.....
finalultima I can't believe this isn't in the top 100 of all time, I mean, the acting was perfect, the special effects mind blowing and no one could have guessed the major twist at the end, I mean, who would have thought that he actually WAS Tyler Durdan, oh wait.. wrong movie.. I nearly cried when this movie reached it's emotional climax, I seriously thought Kong had the upper hand against those fighter planes.. At any rate, I think this movie has some serious Oscar nods, with Pacino's powerful emergence as the ruthless gangster trying to protect his family yet sliding to deeper and darker depths than he could ever imagine. It shows his depth as one of the best actors of all time, and mixed with a lethal combination of a superb director who places every scene perfectly without flaw, this will probably go alright at the box office and much deserved effort at that. I'd give it a 10 out of 10, fantastic Ramsay St action.
stitch_groover Neighbours has always been one of the flagships of Australian soap. Naturally over the years it's gone up and down in turn of quality, but luckily we are currently in the middle of a great upturn. Neighbours in 2005 has been the most dramatic year yet. It began with the cliffhanger finale for 2004 when Lou's Pub was blown up, trapping Stu and Sindi in the basement. And who happened to turn up in the crowd to watch the conflagration? None other than Paul Robinson. From this single event, the lives of the Ramsey St residents have changed irreversibly. Secrets have been uncovered, relationships destroyed, planes crashed, entire families wiped out - and that's just a small portion of the years events.Last month's plane crash affected every single resident of Ramsey St - and will continue to play a major part in 2006 story lines. So here's to the greatest resurgences in Australian TV, and to one of the great programs in TV history
