SoTrumpBelieve Must See Movie...
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
nukeman-00359 so back in 2012, there was this show that went by the name of Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures. about 2 surfer dudes and the adventures it had a smart guy, a straight man, a love interest for the straight man, and the little bratty girl, who's into the moron. I know what you're thinking 'What does this have to do with this?" well give me a minute, because i'm getting to it. The premise is that Max, the smarter version of skinner, except just as dumb. Who has a little girl that is interested in him, maybe. We have Ashley Alvin's sister. who was like Bucket's love interest in the show. Instead of working in a surf shack in Hawaii. It's a frozen yogurt place, in Colorado. Didn't i mention that Max is a snowboarder? like surf boarders like that show i was talking about, the only difference is that Bucket's replacement Shred, or as i like to call him "Diet Sean Giambrone". Being a generic nerd and inventor, and instead of an uncle it' a generic sitcom family
divyanka Although I haven't watched all the episodes of this show, I can say that it is not as entertaining and does not use all of its potential. The personality of Alvin and Max make room for a lot of potential and strong story line, but the show kind of fails to do this. Episodes are generally a little dull (except for a few moments), and the humour kind of fails, as well. That being said, Alvin is a very good actor and my favourite in the show. His character and acting is what makes the show somewhat interesting. Max's character is pretty entertaining, but his acting is not as good. The parents are not funny at all. Perhaps the focus should move from the home to the school. The two main characters can express their personalities more when in the typical high-school setting, rather than in their home.*6.5/10*
RyanWinter100 I didn't quite get this show. I mean there were some nice elements, but there just wasn't enough juice to make it work. Max and Shred were fine, but their lives revolved around a house surrounded by snow, a yogurt place, and a high school hallway. Where was the excitement? The mother, father and older sister were useless, and the boys (main characters) didn't have anything to do. The actor who played Max seemed like a nice kid, the type you might like to have as a friend. I was surprised to learn that the actor who played Shred was only 12 years old; considering that he was pretty impressive. This show needed a villain and less time with the parents, especially the father. He was supposed to be funny, but he wasn't. Maybe they can refit it.
slimer8489 When I first saw commercials for this show, I was like, "Oh, man! Here comes another dumb Dan Schneider show that's gonna have bad comedy, annoying characters, and the nerdy kid is just going to be a punching bag!" I was 100% wrong. This came from Canada, who seem to make great shows (Life with Boys came from Canada, and that show seemed okay), and this was not created by Dan Schneider (thank goodness!) I saw the show, and it was pretty good. I love it.The kid who plays Alvin (Shred) is a pretty great actor, and he kind of reminds me of Josh Nichols from Drake & Josh. Max is a surprisingly nice guy. He doesn't pick on Alvin like you would expect, he actually likes the guy. This show has something that modern Dan Schneider shows don't, and that's comedy. This show doesn't rely on randomly yelling out pointless crap, weird words, and names of foods (*ahem* Mr. Schneider). An example is the episode where there's a snow day, and Alvin has to face his fear of dressing up in an animal costume for some family fun skit. Hey! It may not SEEM funny, but at least it's better than that man I mentioned above.I do not think that Nickelodeon shows this anymore, which is a real bummer. I'm not going to go all angry and talk about how they do this kind of crap to all the good shows, but I would just be sounding like a broken record.
