Noutions Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
aj_ajc_aj I was introduced to this show when i was a little kid and i have been watching it ever since. im glad they still play the show on TV1 because i cant get enough of it. Martin has turned sitcom into a whole new level whether its with its outrageous characters (Sheneneh, Ottis, Jerome etc.) or whether its with the relationship between Gina and his friends. You can never get enough of the hilarious jokes Martin makes about everyone. This truly expresses the tile a laugh out loud show because she show will have you in stomach hurting tears.Unfortunately the show started to lose its hmf after martin was accused of sexual harassment. The last few episodes were just disappointing and was set as more for children audience than adult audience.
jasminemcdanielcutiepie what up y'all that is sum real bull they canceled my show off channel 21 to play one on one. Martin Lawrence is my soul mate and is also known as "MY HUSBAND". Everybody always asking me y i Love him so much, i Jud ask them have u seen or heard him. my step-daughter name Jasmine Page, (also my first name) love me so much. Lark Voorchies and Patriciadumb, but I'm glad they gave him up. if they would of never gave him up he wouldn't be married to me.i get in trouble in class because i am always talking about Martin, people be telling me to shut up. i almost got into it with this girl because she said Martin was her baby daddy. well all i got to say that was messed up how channel 21 did my husband. that was the best show on t.v. but luckily channel 53 (t.v. one) plays my husband on their channel. i love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Catherine_Grace_Zeh "MARTIN," in my opinion, is an absolute FOX classic! I've seen every episode, but I still enjoyed it. It's hard to say which episode was my favorite. It would have to be either the one where Martin (Martin Lawrence) gets sick or the one where he gets robbed. However, I think it was always funny when a mishap occurred. I always laughed at that. It would have been nice if all the main characters stayed with the show throughout its entire run. It seems that no one stays with a show throughout its entire run. Everyone always gave a good performance, the production design was spectacular, the costumes were well-designed, and the writing was always very strong. In conclusion, I hope they bring it back on the air for fans of the show to see.
actionmoviestar "Martin" was the show that everybody I knew looked forward to on Thursday nights back in the early nineties. Forget what was coming on NBC and CBS, we knew that "Martin could supply the goods for us."Martin" basically focused on a radio DJ and the comic misadventures he has with his friends. If you already guessed, hilarity ensues from all this. It's real hard to think of anything I didn't like about the show because the show was that good. Everybody on the show, I felt, had very good chemistry with each other and the writing was very strong also. Since "Martin" was popular among many audiences, most notably African-American, I'm surprised this series is not on DVD yet.Like the same with my one sentence review, "Martin" was on the air back when the Fox channel was still a good network. Now, in my opinion, Fox shows crappy television shows now. We need more shows like "Martin" on that channel.Whenever an old episode of "Martin" is on the air, try watching it. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
