Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.

Humbersi The first must-see film of the year.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
jansgreenearth This by far was the best television series I have ever watched. The story was totally unpredictable right to the very last episode. It had a variety of in depth rich characters portrayed by outstanding actors. Not to mention the interesting story line, exotic film location, and lots of surprises. This show had everything........comedy,drama, mystery, shock value, spirituality and a tiny bit of romance. Yes, please bring me more!! I was looking forward to the second season and have now learned there will not be one. I am very sad and disappointed. I ONLY HOPE THAT WHOEVER HAS THE POWER TO KEEP THIS SHOW GOING WILL GET IT BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON AND MORE. Spellbound by "Mad Dog"
rotex29 This show had great promise out of the gate with the pilot, however as it progressed, the storyline seemed to grow weaker. This supported by the introduction of new and random characters who seemed to add little to the plot (i.e Rochelle, the US Attache at the Embassy), or were added late in the series to create unneeded twists (the woman CIA operative). Billy Zane was seen only in the first episode and after that it was up to the viewer to speculate on his role, involvement in the story and his overall character's relationship to the plot and to each of the four men who came to visit him. (It was never really made completely clear). It almost seemed the writers wrote this on the fly, attempting to get the scripts in before the deadlines, without much thought to creating a "good and solid" storyline. The plot seemed to take on a gigantic life of its own without taking the viewer through the intricacies of the characters or story for adequate viewer understanding and digestion. For example, the disappointing thing is that with the great cast (Steve Zaun or Michael Imperioli), that character development was left primarily for our imaginations, with implication and random explanations of the men's past lives introduced at various places in the show. The writers might have included more background on each of the four men and their independent struggles with alcohol and drugs, professional misconduct, divorce, estranged children and marriage problems back in Chicago. As a result, the viewer was left to try to figure out why each of the men had motive for behaviours in the jungles of Belize. This could have been interesting fodder to keep the story going and send it easily into a second season. If it goes to a second season, (which at this point, it shouldn't) a number of improvements could be made to make the whole adventure more palatable.
Caleb I quite enjoyed this TV show for its ability to keep the suspense and in my view fairly realistic reactions and outcomes to situations. There did seem to be a slight bit of unnecessary inter-character drama, but it served a purpose and did allow a decent amount of back story to each character. One of the more enjoyable aspects is how often you switch who you like, or who you think is the most morally upright. Each character takes the spotlight, only for them to be revealed as selfish and morally ambiguous as the rest! The scenery is beautiful, (yes i know its not actually Belize but who cares it is a TV show). And lots of characters are added who you care about quite quickly. Definitely give it a go!
kms-91461 Great entertainment with a large space for some serious thinking. A lot of absurd situations, which makes the film even better. A man film to reflect upon man approach to life, while just enjoying perfect setting, great acting and great script. Very different and new,but with some analogies to Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. There is however not enough material for 10 episodes, therefore some of them are a bit dragged on.And Belize itself. I have never realize it may look this way, when not viewed from luxury spots. Watch it! Enjoy it!
