It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

I cannot watch Seth for more than a few minutes without some anti-Trump message ... even on those Golden Globe commercials ... still gets a jab in there against Trump at every opportunity. Does Seth and the other late night hosts even care about all the people in the nation they are bashing with their so-called comedy? Maybe he wants to bash and denigrate all conservatives. One thing is for sure, his biased agenda is so obvious and he is so obsessed with it that it is crippling his ability to be funny and people are getting tired of it.
If all you do day in and day out is fight what you hate, then you lose sight of what you love.

Then Donald Trump got the nomination, and even got elected and he never recovered from that episode. Now its 24/7 lecture about the Rs and mind you many people who watch these shows didn't actually vote, or cannot vote, or don't care and yet we are subject to this new Seth.

Political sided late night "comedy", people don't care about what you like or what you think. it's a show for people to enjoy not to hear spoiled Seth ranting, so pathetic. it's like a campaign when the voting already was done, long time ago. again pathetic and fruitless. and contain mostly fake news, someone should really find a replacement.

Why does this guy have his own show? He read fake news on Saturday Night Live; that's supposed to be a major skill worthy of hosting a talk show? Johnny Carson is rolling in his grave! I watched him recently and I couldn't get past the "monologue" because it was just non-stop, un-funny, Trump bashing! I like good political humor, but this reeked of jealous rage. I can't imagine that he has more than 10 regular viewers. Why do they continue to keep him on?
