I really enjoy this show. The first few episodes, although slow, were enough to draw me in and hold my interest through the first three seasons. I haven't seen the newest season yet but if it's as good as the previous three I'll definitely be into this for the long haul. Let me put it this way, today was my day off from work and I spent the whole day (I'm talking 11 am to midnight) binge watching episode after episode. The cast is funny and believable (as much as they can be in a show as strange as this) and the storylines work well. I like to think of this show as a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Psyche. Without spoiling anything it's a crime drama with a zombie twist. If you're looking for a show with Romero style shamblers and a lot of gunplay I'd suggest going with something more in the vein of The Walking Dead or Z Nation. If you like zombies and don't have a problem with eschewing established zombie tropes with a smattering of whodunnit this show is for you. Hope this review helps influence your decision. It's totally worth a watch.

The other seasons are so great! Fun, light yet held a perfect amount of suspense. This new season is such a let down. Liv is significantly more effected by zombie brains, which not only makes us miss our amazing leading spring role, but makes us more and more confused of why This series has continued. I no longer feel like a loyal lover of the show but now a frustrated watcher continually wondering where the past writers went, or if they are paid to trying to continue their stream of income from their watchers as they burn this show down with minimal income, that was obviously not spent on writers but trying to keep the current actors.

CW has done it again, cancelled a good, entertaining show that just isn't pc enough. One more season, after the current.Sad that CW continues to support the idiotic shows like Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, etc, which are social issue messages central to each episode, and a lame plot to embed the message into.

This is a reasonably good show but I found myself getting a little bored with the 'eat someone's brain to get their memories' in each episode.......and then helping the police to solve cases.... sorry but that's been done a million times. I don't known how this show gets a IMDB rating of 8I have given it a 6 because the first few episodes were fun
