TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Suman Roberson It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
lorcan-61881 Intruders is a show that I never saw, like most shows. Because of Millie Bobby Brown and her speechless performance in Stranger Things,I decided to see some of her other works and I found out,she had starred in a small TV series,Intruders, which follows a detective who investigates a cult, who when they die, transfer their own souls into the lives of other people's bodies. So,I was really excited to see Intruders, and not just because of Brown and her awesome acting, because it actually did sound quite good, and so,considering I was too busy to watch it online,I quickly ordered it online and a few days later, the DVD arrived..and I watched it! Wow! Intruders is..wow. I can't think of another show as boring as Intruders, seriously, this show was so boring,I did not give a s*it for one character, the acting in the show was..OK,nothing to brag about,Millie Brown was obviously amazing in this,I loved her character actually but that's it,when I watched the first episode,I thought it was actually going to be good,I liked that..but no. Intruders is a really boring show, don't watch it,just skip to Brown's performance, honestly
cjonesas Please allow me not to comment and review on the series itself, but a specific acting. I will leave the whole review of the series to more expert persons. What is having my mind blown is the acting skills and talents of Millie Bobby Brown, aged around 10.5 at the time. My sincere congratulations to this young lady who portrays a very difficult personality on the show and pulls it perfectly leaving viewers mesmerized and in shock. I would think this young lady's talents are at par with best of the best celebrities in the industry for the last 100 years. May she shine and flourish each day more and more.If you have doubts, just watch and be in awe!
Laughing Man Some people have been complaining about being confused after watching the pilot. To those people I say, who says a pilot has to lay out everything before you? Can it not just establish the mood and a general direction to color you intrigued without having to give a clear synopsis of what the series is about? Twin Peaks for example doesn't start to make sense until after the first season. What I mean to say by that is, just because a show starts out slowly and takes a few episodes to establish the characters and atmosphere doesn't mean it's bad. I liked Intruders very much so far, plot-wise we aren't given much answers until episode 6 or so, but it constantly keeps us guessing. The all around solid acting adds to the eerie mood and intriguing mystique. I am very curious where the story will lead and what strange revelations lie ahead.Let's hope this gets renewed for a second season, Intruders is in my opinion currently one of the most intriguing horror/mystery series on television.
jonnithomas The first program shows various scenes and events which are disjointed. The background sounds to the scenes are designed to jar and be disconcerting. It contains sounds which are just slightly too loud and prevent you from hearing what is being said clearly. a lot of it simply is overdone and artificial.a lot of the scenes shown are supposed to be mystifying or frightening but I simply found them irritating.Clearly some of the people that watched this decided that is was very good but that simply leads me to wonder why.this program is about as entertaining as hearing somebody scratching their nails on a chalkboard... it's discordant and meaningless.it's a shame as the idea of the series sounded interesting.
