Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Irishchatter You know, I've seen so much good gay anime but then I had to run to this pointless crap. I really thought like the other gay anime Ive seen that this was gonna be good but instead, it was boriing and just dull with each episode. There's nothing interesting about the characters especially the main ones. I thought I could prove the ones who reviewed this bad wrong, but unfortunately they were right this time so yeah very dissapointed. I would love to give this 0 seriously instead of one!
tkmaxwell777 I don't know what anime the previous commenter watched, but I don't see how it could have been Gakuen Heaven! This is quintessential Shonen Ai, and I haven't seen anything to compare to it in a LONG TIME. Although I liked Sukisho, this anime has so many more bishonen that are each developed, the emotional pull of the characters is very strong, and the storyline is interesting and supported all the way until the end of the anime. Add to that a wonderful opening theme song and the cute "Ham-Ham Heaven" previews, you have something that you will want to watch over and over again. I know that I have. To think that it came from a video game just impresses me even more with how good all of the characters are and how much plot there really is to the anime. No, it is not as graphic as the manga, but it doesn't have to be. The ending is just perfect, and the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that I wish there was more!
skyesilverstar1 I've heard a lot of flack about this series, but I personally don't understand it.This series is boy-love, and it has all the best that genre can offer. A cast of yummy boys, a love story, and drama. Also angst, mustn't forget that part. ^_^ After only the first episode you find yourself rooting for the hero, Ito Keita, cheering him on as he makes new friends; and booing at the people who are unkind to him. With all these cute guys clamoring for his attention, whats a boy to do? I heartily recommend this anime to any fans of the shonen-ai genre, and hope you have as much fun as I did.
Siel_O it's so sad that until there's finally another TV shounen ai show it has to suck this much. music and animation are the usual low budjet but they could've been easily forgiven had they got a descent story. instead, there's an idiotic, flat, unsolid, annoying characters, the most boring settings, with no new ideas what so ever, no plot or meaning until episode 12 (out of 13) which then makes up a very uninteresting side story, very dull. the episodes' stories and ideas were so silly all i thought was "who cares??" and wait for the episode to finish. i was not amused one bit, the only reason i watched the whole thing was to see if it goes anywhere, by the time i realized episode 8 still has no goal i knew it's done for but i kept going and now i don't know what makes bothers me more - the fact i watched it all or the fact it was even made. not recommended at all, a shame for the shounen ai genre, i have simply no idea why was it licensed for an American release. hoping for a better shounen ai next time, till then i'll rewatch sukisho again. :D
