MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
Dax Thompson I will admit it has its faults but other then that almost every character can actually act (for unknowns), the story lines for the most part are always interesting, and they never sugar code anything. If a character is gonna get rapped, they will get rapped. If someone gets pregnant, they will get pregnant. Every action has a reaction in the show and thats refreshing. All I wanna know is how come Canada can make a good-realistic-real teen drama but America can't thats embarrassing for us. We have the terrible 90210, Gossip Girls, Skins, Glee, but nothing even close or as real as Degrassi. I escpecially like (what some people don't) the transformation in season 10 and on... The whole 20 something episodes in the summer are nice and quick (Panning out to like 5-7 weeks). The fall blocks of 8 episodes (Over two month period. Besides the Nowhere to Run special). And the Spring block of 10-18 episodes. It's like Degrassi the only show that can air year-round. All I can say this show is almost perfect with the exceptions of some boring and bad characters/story lines like Alli in "Degrassi: Showdown" or Eli in "Degrassi: Now or Never", or Clair in "Degrassi: The Boiling Point", or Jenna in "Degrassi: Fall Block 10" or, Eli/Clair in "Degrassi: In Too Deep", or Clair/Jake in "Degrassi: Nowhere to Run", or Fiona in "Degrassi: New Beginnings", or Becky in "Degrassi: Returns 12", or Jenna/Connor in "Degrassi: Anything Could Happen". But you should watch season 6 and on. Season 1-5 just seems badly acted some good story lines but for the most part plan and boring.
pro-sep735 Degrassi is one of my favorite televisions shows still airing today. It centers around a bunch of Canadian teenagers attending Degrassi Community School in Ontario, Canada. The age groups of the students seem to be from between 14-18, and it documents the real-life hardships and problems that many kids deal with in the world today (e.g., relationships, eating disorders, drugs, growing up...).But now it seems like the show only focuses on the same subjects over and over again; the love triangle between Clare, Eli, and Jake, the complications of Drew's relationship with Bianca, Katie, and Marisol, and Ali still searching to find love. When will there be something new? All and all, Degrassi is a great show. I've seen every episode, and I hope that they continue to have more seasons. There have been eleven in all (from 2001-2011). Can't wait to see what's next.
RippedFlowerPetals3131 If you are between the ages of 12-18, this show is for you. It deals with drama typical high schoolers go through. Seasons 1-2 are pretty boring, where they are just "introducing" the show. Seasons 3-7 are the best, to me at least. It goes through 3 pregnancy story lines (there's a fourth in S10, but most saw it coming), having a child in high school, shooting, stabbing, rape, homosexuality, cutting, exposing your body to a camera, stripping, stealing, fighting, cancer, you name it. Unfortunately, all the original "The Next Generation" characters left after season 7, and only Emma, Manny, and Liberty stayed. They ended up leaving post-S7. Anyway, without the original characters, they no longer hold the title "The Next Generation". In fact, if you own Comcast cable, on the channel menu, Degrassi: The Next Generation is only called "Degrassi". That upset me very much.I have easily noticed something of the new season: It revolves around relationships. Yes, relationships may consume the attention of many high schoolers, that's not all they go through. Remember all the things the listed? Yeah, post season 7 will never go there. Degrassi has slacked off tremendously on the "going there" scale, but you would get a kick out of the repeats.Even though Degrassi has some faults, it's a good show, and you should totally watch it!
CreamCheeze This show is such a delight to watch. Over the years, it has become one of my favorite television shows. It portrays REAL teens, and I think REAL teens should be exposed to this show. They go through the same situations and drama that a normal school would have. All kids can relate to this show, some more than others, but it is pure entertainment as well. You will become obsessesd with the show and follow all of the many characters that are featured on this show.Degrassi: The Next Generation is simply an amazing show, and the recent Boiling Point has been the best season in a long time. The show went downhill for a short time, but now it is back, better than ever, with a brand new fresh cast. Check it out! I give Degrassi 10 stars. It deserves it!
