People say this series is not for kids but when first I watched I was just a kid unfortunately at that time they only have some episode dubbed in Hindi. But after years when I am almost 20 year old I watched it again obliviously liked it. Good thing about this series is that every episode is mostly not dependable on timeline(This is the reason I didn't start watching games of throne) except for Black Org plot. I also found it realistic and logical ( most of the time). Their trick also work in real life( I am not talking about murder one) for example in one episode they show a criminal freeze throttle of his bike with a coin so he can use his both hand to use a weapon that same trick I tried with my own Bike it really work well. I think it's also not encourage crime but same time discourage it. I know it's little weird that everywhere Moorie and Conan go a crime happen. But I can digest it. It's better then most of Drama going on in TV nowadays. It's not like other TV series in which they spent as much as 10 minutes in just some chit chat. Making this type of show require too much creativity and planning. It's a hats of to the writer because he show us more then 800 way of crime and how to detect them. Many serial show spent as much as a full hour and show nothing. On the other hand in Detective Conan in just 20 minutes they solve a whole crime. No time waste no rubbish. I read one reviewer said that Conan always predict crime and suspicions everything to him or her I only want to say one thing This is what a Detective supposed to do. In many episode Conan stopped a crime from happening just because of his prediction.And some person say that he walk around crime scene like he is invisible I know many times it too much but you have to ignore such small thing as soon as they are doing their main job(making crime mystery) right. I've seen too many show in which writer/director themselves forget their plot make things too unrealistic( I am not here talking about just anime).

Don't get me wrong i love the show and continued watching even after the English dub ended at episode 130. They are overly exaggerated and they assume that the common man has the intellect of a professional criminal. As for the main character, he is always suspicious of every single thing going on even if it would otherwise be irrelevant. For the sake of the story, he picks up clues from analyzing everyone even before anything even happens. As for the police, they listen to the kids and allow them near the dark and graphic crime scenes. He puts Detective Mouri to sleep so easily and nobody even notices conan missing or standing right next to him.I have watched Detective School Q thrice and am going to watch it many more times again. Even though it was pitiful that it had to end at 45 episodes, I will just enjoy it forever. And detective Conan as of now is not keeping me as excited.

This anime is one of best anime's ever it has a great story line and a lot of cool characters I know a people hate this anime because it has a lot of episodes and it has been going since 1996 but this anime has over +770 and a lot of movies and specials, what's special about this anime its re-watchable and it has great story this series is awesome, I can't define it in words you just to have to see it if you love Sherlock Holmes or CSI you will love this show and you may be wondering =770 episodes is a lot, but actually its not an all filters of the series are awesome, I will watch detective this series even if it never ends or has +1000 Episodes I have been watching this TV show since I was a kid, I am happy it grew up with me and I hope it stays longer.10/10 story 10/10 Characters 9/10 Opening songs 10/10 Theme song Overall:10 "Awesome"This series is awesome u have to watch it before u die.
