Reviews

FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
tesujiaji Finally saw the series. For a werewolf series, As an adaption of Kelley Armstrong's books, it is extremely poor. I had the feeling the writers for the show read the books only to get the names of the characters in the book. The two story arc's in the first season presented are way out in left field. But it (kind of) paid lip service to the book Bitten. The second season extended the trend of ignoring the direction of Kelley's excellent books. And did not even bother with anything more than the names of the characters. The third was a mercy killing of the mess. One of the things I have always admired is the strength of Kelley's characters. That would be missing from the series. The characters behavior bear no resemblance to Kelley's. Clay in the book is mostly wolf, in the series he is completely human. Elena is a wimp. None of the characters in the series seem like werewolves at all. None of their personalities matches the presentation in the series. Regeneration? Nope. Werewolves fighting? Nope. Silver nope. After all that, I think the episode writers would have done MUCH better to not do an 'adaptation' but instead attempt to write their own series.thinking about it... that is what they did.
martin-diss i hoped this would something similar to Grimm or supernatural. Only to realize its another American production dumb down stupidity. Models for actors, superficial story, there is really nothing to look forward in this series. In "pilot" its more about sex then anything else. Keep away if your brain is in tact. I only wish Sam and Dean Winchester make a quest appearance. ( and yes that would be the series finale)
ragirl-82281 I give it 1 star as the average of the three seasons. Season one is much better than the next two given that 2 and 3 are complete rubbish. Every other scene is half meaningful looks and cheesy music because they don't have enough material to fill 40 minutes of dialogue. Season 3 ended with that skipping ahead montage that signals that there won't be a season 4. It seemed so haphazard that it's obvious they got the cancellation notice as they were filming the last episode of the season. That in itself is a miracle as the show should have been canceled at least a season and a half earlier. In conclusion I hope the author of the books got enough money to make up for the utter embarrassment of this show. Sorry kelley but they turned your books into compost.
bobbibrewtality The only reason this got one star, is there was no option for none. The first thing that hit me, was who in the hell is that blonde chick supposed to be?! Elena!? Ohhhhhhhh. The self confessed tom boy who doesn't wear dresses or heels or make up or do anything with her hair. Yet in the first scene totters around in a mini dress and ridiculous spiked platform heels, dressed like shes about to go clubbing. Which she also doesn't like or do.Clay was supposed to be a gorgeous light blonde surfer looking guy with a southern home drawl who pronounced it "dah-ling", yet Im willing to bet this character was told, "dont worry, pout, look broody, it'll do".NONE of these characters are anything like the book. None of them look, sound, act, have the same sort of dialogue or share anything except a name. Its as if this whole show is built up of glossy shiny vacuous empty people and scenery, in an attempt to look so good viewers will miss the fact the plot jumps all over the place and the characters are pathetic. What the hell, does "Theres only one reason women know that sort of self defence!" even mean!? A woman stuck up for herself!? Shock horror! The cgi is so terrible I would laugh if it didn't make me want to cry.Im no prude and sex doesn't bother me. But there is a LOT of sexual stuff in this show that has absolutely no purpose. It's thrown in for shock value and it doesn't even do that well. Other than be shockingly bad I guess.Essentially, Im too annoyed to be able to write a decent review. I have been a huge fan of Bitten, the book, for many years. This on the other hand is absolute mindless drivel.AVOID IT.I genuinely cannot stand
