Reviews

Onlinewsma Absolutely Brilliant!
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
daaspeaks Starting off with Acting, the show's young actors do the characters phenomenal justice. Storyline is coherent and is gripping enough for someone looking to binge the entire season in one night. Unlike shows which leave you at cliffhangers at the end of every episode making you question what the point of the entire episode was; this show makes sure you leave every episode satisfied even if it chooses to end in a cliffhanger. Cinematography, music and transitions appear to have been put so much effort into, that it makes you question whether the topic at hand is really something as silly as a search for the Phallus Artist. Between all the hilarious, preposterous, and sometimes outright shocking moments, there's a much deeper message. Something which might not be immediately obvious, but there comes a point where you realise you suffer from it too. We all suffer from it. Our preconceived identity of someone we barely know. Judging someone's character, innocence & sometimes guilt based merely on their looks, behaviour, & what we've heard from others. One idea the show manages to hammer home is that most times what we know about another person isn't really who they are. Moments of brilliant humour & innovative comedic style contrasted against the mirror of society's obsession with judging people based on superficial matter, this show has it all.
simonrriley I thought I would give it a whirl and ended up watching the whole season in one sitting great storyline cant wait for the next season really wanna know who painted the dicks
lskenazy Loved every second of this incredibly clever parody -- and can't stop thinking about the waaaaaaay deeper issues! And I'm not even an English major. This is a show for anyone who has any beef with any authority figure, or who has ever felt judged. In other words -- everyone. Great acting, great dialog, great, funny sense of self-importance. Dearly hope there will be a sequel. Screen it in law schools, before anyone becomes a prosecutor. Screen it in ed schools for anyone who's going to become a teacher -- or vice principal. And for God's sake, NPR: Watch and learn. This is what you sound like! You sound like Peter Maldonado except not funny!
ninjarolins Initially, I thought that this show with stupid jokes. But after watching the first series, I realized that it is not. Yes, there are a couple dumb moments. But it all comes from the main character(Dylan Maxwell). It not smart, and unpopular. He communicates with the same. But everything changes after he is accused of a crime he did not commit(I won't says what it is, but it is funny). In General, he was expelled from school. For it takes a guy from 10th grade. All about the story. The series is made as the documentary. Interview, investigate First.. the series seems funny and meaningless, but watching the others I realized the show fascinated me. Who's the victim? Who is the culprit? These issues we ask for all of the 1st season. And Yes, I'm glad that the series renewed for a 2nd season. I'll be waiting! By viewing is recommended!
