Steineded How sad is this?
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
mariahtahmisian I have nothing but praise for the smartest, coolest, most innovative show out there! 24 is a thrill ride that never slows down! It's easily #1, none can come even close for me ever! Agent Jack Bauer works for CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) dealing with (terrorists) assassination attempts, nuclear attacks, bio-terrorism, torture, traitors, sleeper cells, other bad guys in 24 hours (hence the name, 24). Each episode is an hour in the show (about 40 minutes for us without commercials) with 24 episodes, each season covering an non- consecutive day in Bauer's life. CTU helps stop the attacks with amazing agents, who routinely risk their lives to save the lives of others. More than one story goes on in the 24 hours though and we usually see people in charge, (for example the White House) deal with the attacks and internal issues as well as the terrorists or civilians etc. This is a show everyone should watch because they will love it. This show has cliffhangers at the end of every episode and is very easy to binge watch and watch many episodes in one sitting. If you want a more detailed spoiler free review of 24, read my blog article Spoiler free Guide to 24- https://mtallthingsawesome.wordpress.com/2017/08/13/spoiler-free- beginners-guide-to-24/Watch 24, you will never regret it!
Adam Hosman Allow me to share some of my random annoyances regarding this otherwise good series:All vehicles are bombs that detonate upon any kind of impact – Yeah, right. The most exciting things always happen at hour:59 – Yeah, right. Terrorists wait for the CTU interpreter to translate what they're saying on the phone before answering each other (S06E17) – Yeah, right. Jack is a celebrity. His trial was broadcast. Then, he goes undercover (S08E04) – Yeah, right.Cultural ignorance & ridiculous casting: Arabs speaking English among themselves – Yeah, right. Russians speaking English among themselves – Yeah, right. Bauer happens to speak Russian well enough to fool a Russian security guard – Yeah, right. S06E14 - Just because Nadia was "born in a Middle Eastern country" they call her a Muslim – Umm, no. S06 - Using clearly Indian actors to portray Arabic characters (Kal Penn and Ajay Mehta) – Why on Earth? S08 - An Indian woman born in 1982 (Nazneen Contractor) is playing the daughter of an Arabic woman born also in 1982 (Necar Zadegan) – Again, why on Earth?Could've been great!
dkar3 This is a complete joke of a show. Its not a 2-hour horribly ridiculous movie - its TWENTY-FOUR hours of ridiculous, unbelievable, and stupid pseudo-drama. For instance, Sutherland gets poisoned and starts to have a heart attack. In minutes, he self-injects a medication to stop his heart attack, but within 5-10 minutes, he is running "full speed" down the street after a "bad guy". Yeah. Sure. If you watch one hour, you've seen all 24. If you've been kidnapped and forced against your will to watch all episodes, watch the first, ...go catatonic for the middle 22, and then watch the 24th. Now, you've got the whole story. This show should be a form of torture at Gitmo. I gave it a '2' instead of '1' because some of the commercials are pretty good.
Russell Campbell I used to hear about this and it seemed the consensus was that it was so great. I have only recently started watching it on Amazon Fire TV. I've been underwhelmed, for sure. The writing is really not very good. It's too lazy and formulaic. How incredibly stupid can Kim be? Does Teri just accept that it's OK for Jack's job to put them in so much jeopardy? Can the criminals be any more stupid? I know that sometimes in shows like this you have to suspend reality a bit, but there's just too much that's not realistic in any way at all. I'm about 15 or so episodes into the first season and it's just too ridiculous. I can't continue with crap like this. Bye, 24, I hardly knew ye . . . but I knew enough not to continue to waste my time.
