Chatverock Takes itself way too seriously
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
kliko400 A good Summerslam event, as nothing was really wrong with it, but could of been a bit better with the matches, the duration of them & their pace.FIRST MATCH- ORLANDO JORDAN {CHAMPION} VS. CHRIS BENOIT FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP This has got to be the fastest title change in Summerslam & WWE history. Benoit makes Orlando tap out to the Sharpshooter in about 25 seconds to become the new United States Champion. 3/10SECOND MATCH- EDGE W/ LITA VS. MATT HARDY This more of a brawl, not a wrestling match, but what a good brawl it was. Edge beats Matt Hardy bad until he bleeds, as the referee stops the match, which results Edge as the winner. 5/10THIRD MATCH- REY MYSTERIO VS. EDDIE GUERRERO IN A LADDER MATCH FOR CUSTODY OF DOMINICK Pretty cool ladder match, although I really didn't see the ending, but from what I saw, it was an acceptable ladder match from these two great athletes, especially Mysterio, but never count Eddie Guerrero out. Eddie's wife distracts him, knocking him off the ladder, as Mysterio climbs up the ladder & retrieves custody papers to gain the right to keep his son Dominick. 5/10FOURTH MATCH- KURT ANGLE VS. EUGENE W/ CHRISTY HEMME IN A NO TIME LIMIT CHALLENGE FOR KURT ANGLE'S GOLD MEDALS A pretty solid & one sided match, but it was alright. Angle always rules, but Eugene is just bad. Angle makes Eugene tap out to the ankle lock to get his gold medals back from Eugene. 5/10FIFTH MATCH- RANDY ORTON VS. UNDERTAKER Very good match, pretty much the same like their Wrestlemania encounter, but it was great, both these two men have got great chemistry in the ring together. An unknown hooded figure interferes, giving Orton enough time to nail an RKO on Undertaker for the three count. After the match, it turns out the hooded figure is Cowboy Bob Orton, Randy Orton's dad. 5/10SIXTH MATCH- JOHN CENA {CHAMPION} VS. CHRIS JERICHO FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP Another good match, as all the hype between these two men have not carried down this match. Jericho & Cena are really great athletes, & have got really good chemistry together. Cena nails the FU for the win & to retain his WWE Championship. 5/10SEVENTH MATCH- BATISTA {CHAMPION} VS. JBL IN A NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Wasn't bad, but could of been given just a little bit of more time, pretty coll spots in this match. Batista nails a Powerbomb on JBL on the steel steps, for the cool victory & to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. 5/10EIGHT MATCH- SHAWN MICHAELS VS. HULK HOGAN Finally, the match everyone has dreamed & waiting to watch for one last time has come here, & what a better place besides Wrestlemania than Summerslam. To say the truth, I was expecting a lot more from this match, but Hulk Hogan is getting pretty old, so you gotta give him a break. It was alright, as Hogan was busted open really badly in this match. But he was able to fight back, & nail a Big Boot followed by a Leg Drop for the win. After the match, both Michaels & Hogan shook hands in respect, as what a great way to end Summerslam. 4/10As I said, this Summerslam has it's moments, especially the ending of the mainevent, as it was a great Summerslam which is no surprise as all Summerslams are exciting to watch. Good event, nothing really too bad, but the mainevent could of been a bit better, but overall, it was a great event.Overall I'll give it 7/10 & a C+
Stuart Wilson Icon vs Legend. Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan. One of the matches that I, along with so many other long time wrestling fans, thought we would never see. And considering it was a Hogan match, it didn't disappoint. Michaels proved tonight why he will go down as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time as he carried Hulk Hogan to his best match in many, many years. Sure, then ending was rubbish (HKB should have kicked Hogan's dentures clean out his mouth) but the sheer history making feel about the contest made up for it.The rest of the card was good as well. The ladder match between Mysterio and Guerrero was excellent. I hope this ends their feud now as it will have gone out on a high note. Jericho battling Cena for the WWE Championship was enjoyable also. Looks now that this will be Jericho's final WWE pay-per-view for a while so it was good he ended on a Championship match. Orton and The Undertaker had an good match but it couldn't hold a candle to their barn burner at WrestleMania 21. JBL and Batista also had a fairly good No Holds Barred match. This is another feud I hope ended at SummerSlam 2005. These two have zero chemistry together and it shows in the ring. The only flaws where the United States Championship match which made Orlando Jordan out to be the useless jobber that we WWE fans feel he is anyway and why the hell did one of the hottest matches of the night get stopped in about five minutes. Very, very bad booking in my eyes. Matt Hardy and Edge should have been allowed to tear each other apart all over Washington.SummerSlam has always been one of the hottest (no pun intended) events of the year and 2005 was no different. It was hyped as a mayor event and it felt like a major event. Just a pity WWE couldn't put on a show like this every month for it's fans.
wrestlingsitewebmaster Good grief! McMahon has done it again! This PPV is in the excellence package along with earlier PPV's like One Night Stand, Judgment Day and Vengeance. This event drew 570,000 buys! In my opinion it had the Summerslam feel to it.Results from the show: Rey Mysterio defeated Eddie Guerrero in a cracker ladder match. However this storyline has ran its course and it should end right now!Chris Benoit beat Orlando Jordan in 25 seconds to win the US title.Edge beat Matt Hardy in a wild short match which featured Hardy splitting his head open.Batista defeated John 'Bradshaw' Layfield in a good match. Way better than their sh*te match at Great American Bash. JBL really suffers here as Batty powerbombs him through the steps! Kurt Angle defeated Eugene. Hey, did anyone else think that Eugene would win?! John Cena beat Chris Jericho to retain the Heavyweight Championship in a very good match! Yes, Cena was in a good match!Randy Orton pinned The Undertaker with help from his ole fella 'Cowboy' Bob Orton.Hulk Hogan pinned Shawn Michaels. OK, this wasn't going to be a Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle technical masterpiece, but fans were eager to see this match happen because it hadn't been done before. The only disappointments were Shelton Benjamin or Christian were not used on the card, but those details aside, a solid effort! Overall Grade - A
terrell_lucas2005 Summerslam 2005 is a pretty big example of how wrestling has gone down over the years, watching that ppv was like watching Raw or Smackdown, only having to pay to watch it, Orton vs Taker and Cena vs Jericho were the only two matches I enjoyed, I expected a lot more action out of the Guerrero and Mysterio ladder match, Most of the event was a big disappointment, I nearly fell asleep in the Hogan and HBK match, being a fan of wrestling since i had baby teeth is a pain for me to see such an event, this suppose to be the second biggest wwe ppv event of the year, I suggest you keep your 35 bucks in your pocket for this one, it really isn't worth it
