I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

Russian Wolf Hunt (1910) ** (out of 4) This documentary takes us to Russia where we see how wolf hunts were done back in the day. This thing lasts under three minutes so one really shouldn't expecting anything ground-breaking and it's certainly not all that entertaining. What we basically have is a camera set up as a group of dogs go after wolves. If you're easily upset by violence then you might just want to skip this all together because it does show several wolves being killed by the dogs. Overall this is fair to say the least. Some might find it interesting because you get to see carriages from 1910 as well as outfits that people were wearing in the day. As far as the hunting footage goes, it's pretty bland. Usually the camera is so far away that they miss most of the action and there's one sequence where the action goes right past the camera but whoever is operating it doesn't even bother to turn and continue in on the action.
