BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
gil_jade-1 Well what can I say ? This film is amazing and Queen is amazing here. The crowd kinda sucks though but it does no detract from the viewing pleasure. And what pleasure it is ! You must , and I repeat must , in this day and age get the Blue-ray. Previous comments before 2007 I guess complained about the poor video quality in the DVD, but the Blue-Ray shows other unsung heroes (at least on the IMDb comments) of this show, and those are the director and also the cinematographer. I really feel that the cinematography here is exceptional, and probably the best one I have yet seen of a live show film. In my view this concert and cinematography are much better than Scorsese's Last Waltz. Freddy just seems so alive and close, and the lighting and colors are as dazzling as the music and performance is. Other people here already commented how good the show is, and Queen are of course legendary, but to this I just have to add - You absolutely must watch this on BlueRay (Or the film theater) otherwise justice would not be done. I give this film a solid 10/10 ....
ladyace4500 I first watched this on video with my cousin, then found the DVD, and had to have it!! It shows Queen well at the peak of perfection. Every song sounded great. I have been a Queen fan for most of my life and miss Freddie's talent and his unique voice.
abababab41 I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. If you want something a little more polished, view "Rock in Rio" or "Live in Wembley". This concert certainly demonstrates the dynamic vocals of Freddie Mercury aided by a brilliant band consisting of Roger Taylor, Brian May, and John Deacon.
beker_a Freddie, Brian, Roger and John performing live some of their greatest songs ever; worldwide smash hits such as 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Another One Bites the Dust' along tender ballads such as 'Love of My Life'. Whether you're a Queen fan or not, you will probably be rocked by the wonderful compositions, the band members playing skills and, of course, Freddie Mercury's fabulous voice. Directed by Saul Swimmer in late 1981, this video gives you a good example of how humble but enjoyable rock shows used to be, before the age of giant video screens and dozens of background dancers. Music lovers, don't miss this one.
