Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
steeledanton So even though I'm like analyzing Cillian murphy and josh hartnett right now, I can't help but too define and describe what an awesome job Kevin Bacon does in film. Like before this I remember Criminal law, and man, spooky, awesome. With Courtney Love in the film, i remember that all my expectations were turned in revulsion and, i was so impressed by these guys that I had to JUST love their acting! Now as far as Josh hartnett and Cillian Murphy, its obvious that the steps in identifying character relationships with the viewers and the affectivity involving these two versus SAY a more mainstream and current population of STARS...is bringing me hopelessness towards even creeping myself out any further within shocking docudramas and film going viral.
edwagreen While we have superior acting in this film, the ending kills the picture. It relies too heavily on a final chase scene by aircraft into a crowded highway. The results are most astounding in a film with an excellent plot.Kevin Bacon, Courtney Love and Pruitt Vance play a threesome engaged in kidnappings. They've done it 4 times, but in this one, Bacon has an ulterior motive. This kidnapping is destined to have problems from the very beginning. The child victim is severely asthmatic. As stated there is some fine acting here, by Charlize Theron as the mother turning the tables on Bacon, Courtney Love, as Bacon's wife, vulnerable, but vicious, until she realizes what her husband is really up to.Had they worked around the ending, the picture would have even been better. After all,Bacon played a cool, calm character throughout the early part of the film.
ananias73 First (1987) "Fatal Attraction" was released, where James Dearden (writer) shows us how to protect ourselves from the fear of HIV: Family. Then other films have to do with the fear of an unknown terror that interrupts the family happiness ("The Hand that Rocks the Cradle", "One Hour Photo", "Ransom", Unlawful Entry" etc.). Same old story in this film. The kidnappers are simply stupid (Bacon in his usual psycho portrait, Courtney Love tries hard to act), "family hug" can save us from every danger and father (another stupid character) decide to land his plane in the middle of the road not seeming to care how many people he might kill only to save his daughter! This disaster scene at the end destroys everything in the movie. Although Theron (unrealistic reactions from her) learn to us where you can hind a knife to save your life!
buiger Average. The movie is full of clichés and most of all, the ending is totally unrealistic and overblown.Otherwise, if they had stuck to the basic plot, this could have been a nice little thriller, especially because on average, the acting was pretty good (especially Charlize Theron and Kevin Bacon). As usual, for some reason Hollywood producers (or Directors) feel it necessary to cram movies with tons of unnecessary subplots most of the time, as well as add minutes of ridiculous 'action scenes' which usually make the films look unreal and unbelievable to the audience. Do they really think the average moviegoer is a moron? In this case, the ending definitely ruined what could have been a good thriller...
