tim-arnold777 My introduction to Tig Nataro was as one of the regular contestants on @Midnight with Christ Hardwick. I get it. She's a lesbian comic. She was mildly funny at times but generally sort of floppish. But I guess everyone is supposed to laugh uproariously at everything she says whether it's funny or not. Because god help us if we appear homophobically unamused. So let's laugh, laugh, laugh everybody... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...god she's so funny, she's so brave, oh look she took off her jacket and shirt and she has the upper body physique of a 13 year old boy with tiny pale nipples barely registering on an extremely flat chest. What? She survived bilateral breast cancer and had a double mastectomy? Geez, that IS rough. And it's not really anything about her being gay. It's just the vibe that I feel like I would get cornered and beaten down by her loyal fans for not thinking this is genius comedy. Sorry, I don't need to see what her surgery looks like. Not funny. Just sort of lame and sad parading her elective prepubescent boy chest on stage for all to see. But please applaud. See how beautiful and courageous he/she (shakes head in disbelief).
reidpp Stopped watching after 10 min-her jokes were about how she does terrible stand-up. Only joke is on audience who paid for the show.
tabipha I would give 0 if I could!! HOW does anyone find her funny at all?!? But then again, if u look at all the crap on today and the amount of people that watch it and think it is funny, u then can understand that the intelligence of the masses is quite lacking and that is HOW anyone can find her funny!! I just saw something else of hers where she started her set by saying her mother died tragically like it was a punchline of some joke, and she repeated it numerous times and then spent almost her whole set pushing a wooden stool around the stage to make it make an awful noise, then had someone sit on it and try to push it!! This just hi-lights how NOT funny she is!! I have given her a try in various forms - stand up, TV show, even just conversations she had with people that i saw - and found NONE of it to be amusing in the least!! I love dry wit, and I like a lot of stuff that a lot of people don't find funny, but listening to her makes my brain physically hurt!! How anyone can say she is great is beyond me, but then again, these are probably the same people that elected Trump!! Avoid her if u have ANY intellect at all, you'll thank me later!!
hddu10-819-37458 I have to start off saying I guess I still BELIEVE I think Tig is probably a great writer; that is, I really like shows she has written/collaborated with such as Inside Amy Schumer and the Sarah Silverman Program. In fact, the couple of scenes where she acted on the Sarah Silverman program were hilarious. But after watching this, I guess I'm no in doubt as to how much of the parts of those shows I laughed at were actually written by Tig...since I didn't laugh once during this stand-up act. I didn't so much as smile. In fact it just made me sad to see her talk about "bombing" while bombing. Her stage presence was like watching an even MORE listlessly slow female version of Steven Wright on heroin. I really wish I had something good or funny to say...but then again...neither did Tig, so I guess we're even?
