WiseRatFlames An unexpected masterpiece
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
koohii There is nothing here to see. Urine-poor script compounded by a director who one day hopes to be as good as Uwe Boll, but probably never will be, and an assortment of low-end TV actors who were desperate for work. The delivery of the lines is poor, the "style" for want of a better word is annoying, and the plot, so far as I could tell, was just utterly lacking. Can't blame the actors: they had absolutely nothing to work with and had a director who dragged down their performances like a lead albatross. On top of everything else, the sound quality was variable, but mostly poor, making it very difficult to hear the lines that were there.
JoeB131 This is what happens to actors when they get fat and lazy. They end up in awful movies like this.Remember when Val Kilmner used to be a leading man? I do.Now he's in this bad torture porn that makes little sense. I knew we were in trouble from the first scene when they decide to play the credits over a child murder. The plot is six cops beat a drifter into a coma when they suspect he was the one who killed the daughter of the most senior of them. Oddly, they all happen to be in the police station at the same time when another drifter shows up and confesses to murders that mirror the deaths of these cops. The moral goalposts of this movie are so confused even the actors don't know which way to go, and frankly, it's kind of disturbing to watch Kilmer, who used to do good movies, in this sort of role.A bad sign in this sort of movie is when you are feeling less the suspense, and more the "have we run out of people to kill yet?" Just not a good movie.
kent-s3 I just signed up to Netflix and whilst scrolling through the horror section i came upon this movie.I always find characters who refuse to reveal who they are or what their motivations are always fascinating.I think the film is succinct and there is no unnecessary filler to pad it out.In essence it is basically a haunted house horror film, but the haunted house in question is a police station. There is plenty of gore in this film, but i think its justified in the sense that what the perpetrators of the offence did, deserved to have grisly terminations for there guilty deeds. The film is succinct and has no unnecessary filler,i can wholeheartedly recommend this film to any horror fan without question.Just like to add,do people give this film one or two stars just to look clever or smart, because it doesn't impress me very much. The new blood sport, ripping a movie to shreds for no discernible reason....very sad people.
mwr9993 A few twist that are some what predictable. Not quite as predictable as the other raters say. It definitely is a "B" grade movie.Yes, it is low budget and I am sorry to see Val in all these "B" movie roles. Graphic depictions are as you would expect in a "B" movie. If you are easily bored by a slightly slow set up, then you will miss out along the way. Sure there are twist that make you you think "What?". Other raters call it cheesy if they paid full theater price! One scene set up is missing a link that some may say messed up the flow. Don't get caught up on that. It is a "B" movie.I would not have paid full price for this when it was in the theater. If you like horror movies it is a must see to rent from the low priced movie machines.
