UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
sbanner-58949 Not only did I make an effort to watch the movie but I also attempted to read the book. I couldn't accomplish either. It wasn't the story. I didn't even get that far. It was the authors lack of simple research that killed it for me. It isn't hard to figure out that a Marine is a Marine, or a jarhead or some other nickname, but NEVER a "Soldier!" I got halfway through chapter two, and about 15 minutes into the movie, but there were too many screw ups pertaining to this characters Military Service. I should also point out, that I am a female civilian. I have NO military affiliation at all. I don't have any military family or anything of the sort, yet I manage to keep Marines, Seaman, Soldiers, and Airmen in their own proper buckets. Using those terms incorrectly is just very unprofessional to me
christinamarinho Well, I loved this movie, or rather I loved it! a story of love, affection, family, very beautiful the movie, after finishing watching this movie, I was thinking '' have the book of this movie? if has better I'm going to buy''. This movie was very well done, it was wonderful, thrilled me so much, and by the history marked me! When I came here to see the vote, I think it deserved more than that, because it was the best movie of all! It does not matter the movie year, it matters the story.
Python Hyena The Lucky One (2012): Dir: Scott Hicks / Cast: Zac Efron, Taylor Schilling, Jay R. Ferguson, Blythe Danner, Riley Thomas Stewart: The title can refer to Zac Efron who plays a soldier sent home to find the woman in a photograph that saved his life in a crucial moment. It can also refer to Taylor Schilling whose brother was killed in battle and ends up meeting Efron who applies for a job for the pet training place where she works. At any rate, the title doesn't refer to the audience. It is obvious that the picture that Efron finds had belonged to her brother but the film jerks us around with the truth never surfacing until that pitiful moment where viewers are suppose to care. This is formula crap straight through every predictable cliché. Scott Hicks made another mediocre romance called No Reservations but that film is gold along side this junk. Hicks films great opening war footage then the production becomes basic melodrama bullshit. Efron and Schilling bang each other in the shower, in bed, and anywhere else and their passion is pure nonsense. Jay R. Ferguson as Schilling's abusive ex who is the father of her kid is completely over the top. From the first moment he appears on screen as the cop who is son of higher power, he comes off as a snotty, spoiled high school bully. Blythe Danner plays Schilling's grandmother who is the voice of reason but her drunken scene seems inspired by the material she is given to begin with. This is one of the worst pieces of garbage conjured together that is slapped with the title of romance. If you are fortunate enough to miss this film then you are the ultimate lucky one. Score: 2 / 10
Samuel Sweeney This movie got my attention from the start. Actually I thought all the actors did a great job.. Great movie! Zac is an awesome actor and this movie shows that. I loved how it didn't look fake and mashed together but very well made. I also loved the little kid! He was so cute and his little violin! It was great watching how the characters changed through the story and you could see the change happen instead of wondering what just happened to that person?! It was a very cute movie and i would recommend it to anyone per-teen and up. Love to be introduced to new cool places through films. Anyway, a totally enjoyable chick flick!
