Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
scott-1657 So I waited 21 years to write this to let it all sink in. ;) This may just be my favorite go-to film of all time. Yeah, it's not CItizen Kane, or the Godfather, but, for me, it has all the elements, ha ha, I love. Adventure, humor, science fiction, fantasy... Luc Besson has directed some of my favorite films, and his vision of this one is just amazing. As is the casting. Bruce Willis as Korben Dalls is at his prime here, a wise-ass cab driver who unwittingly has to save the world. How can anyone NOT be in love with Milla Jovovich as Leeloo? Gary Oldman is splendid as yet another psycho and ... is Chris Tucker playing... Prince? Well, RIP purple one, let's not even go there. But he's hysterically obnoxious. No need for me to get any more in-depth. Just watch the film-if you don't absolutely love it ... well, you're not the sort of person I'd hang out with. Multipass.
landfather This movie is one of my all time favorites. Bruce Willis is perfect-perfect-perfect in this film. It's super funny with amazing special effects and a story line that keeps you riveted. For fun, action, comedy and science fiction, this is the movie to see.
axel-herrlin This film has given me very much. For me it's nostalgic to watch since I've seen it 100+ times with my sister, learned about mystics, laughed and cried. For me, it's a film filled with what a lot of people go through with their relationships, beliefs, personal development "in real life" - all in an epic sci-fi. The comedy is a big unload of the heavy meanings that you CAN find between the lines. It's a classic saga about finding love, fight for love, fight against evil forces that desires death and destruction, being compassionate and caring for others."You can only be strong alone for a while, to succeed, you need help!"
watermelonsparkless The fifth element It is not what you think it is. This movie is not about boron the fifth element in fact it is pretty boron if you ask me. But seriously why does every movie have such a misleading title. This movie has nothing to do with boron. Just because they are both science related does not mean that it can just use boron as the title. It is like calling an excavation movie the drain, they are both kind of related but are clearly not the same thing. One thing to take from this movie is a better meaning of life from the main character who has gone from earning a mere 4535485.26 Jamaican Dollar as a taxi driver to 0 Jamaican Dollar but a hero. The confusing part of this movie is why are 4 rocks so important to the world I mean there are only a countless number of other rocks to choose from. Overall another misleading title with no direction or sense in the movie
