merklekranz If I had put two and two together that this is the same director, Bill Bennett, that had done "The Nugget", which I thought was an abominable supposed comedy, I probably never would have watched "Tempted". Unfortunately I would have missed a very intriguing neo-noir, so I'm not ashamed to give credit where credits due. Burt Reynolds hires a carpenter, Peter Facinelli, who works for him, to severely test his beautiful wife's fidelity. The script has many twists and turns, a few of which seem to slightly stretch credibility, but overall this is a fine, entertaining film. The erotic moments work, and the story fills the 91 minute running time nicely. Recommended. - MERK

Jessica Carvalho Charlie Le Blanc is a wealthy businessman married to a beautiful and young woman named Lilly, whom he loves very much. They have a great life, but Charlie discovers that he has only a few months to live, and decides to test Lilly's fidelity to see if she really deserves all of his money. He then hires a young guy called Jimmy, a handsome law student, to seduce his wife. He will pay Jimmy 40.000 dollars, and since Jimmy really needs this money for his university, he accepts the deal.Eventually, all Jimmy's efforts to sleep with Lilly fails. She is truly loyal to her husband. But when Lilly discovers (by Charlie's secretary) what her husband was trying to do, a very dangerous game starts to begin.I expected much more from ''Tempted'',specially after reading about the plot. In the beginning, the movie is good, but after the middle of it becomes very cheap. The only reason I give a higher rate for it, is because I liked Burt Reynolds performance. The rest of the movie is a big cliché, with average script and actors(except Burt), and even some awkward situations.

Tonci Pivac I have to say i quite enjoyed this movie, i am the worlds biggest "Burt Reynolds" fan, although I was a bit confused with his part in the film, I dident know if he was the good guy or the bad guy, I still scratching my head over that one. I also thought "Saffron Burrows" did a great job in her part, although I was very surprized to see her do nudity in the film, you don't see that too often.8/10

markus.kuerten I went to see "TEMPTED" at the Fantasy Filmfest in Cologne, Germany.I´m not going to give away anything about the plot. I will just say, that this one is a truly good moody thriller, which is played excellently and executed (technically) equally good. This movie is a must for those who liked "WILD THINGS", and it´s also a must for everyone who didn´t like the aforementioned movie for it´s too many plot twists. "TEMPTED" always stays believable as the plot and the characters are concerned. I very much enjoyed the location (New Orleans)and together with the thriller plot it adds up to be very moody. Last but not least, the interaction between Burrows and Facinelli is very believable and sexy; not to mention Reynolds great performance!All in all just two words: Watch it!!!
