It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

A shockingly good story! When I first sat down to watch this, I knew nothing about it. I'd never heard of it before Netflix suggested it to me. The first few minutes were really bad. The actors were unknowns, and quite frankly, their acting was pretty bad. I figured I'd give it a few more minutes to see if it improved any, and if not, I was going to shut it off. An hour later, I'd completely forgotten about turning it off. I was engrossed. The acting wasn't any better, but the story was amazing. Yes, I figured out the ending, and usually that irritates me, but this time it added to the story. It was as if Tyler Perry wanted the audience to know what was coming. I gave this 8/10 stars, despite the bad acting, just on the basis of the story itself.

Oh my goodness this movie was the bomb! First I must say that the lesson taught in this movie is accurate, cheat on your loving faithful spouse and there will be consequences, you may not see the consequences immediately but your sins will eventually find you out, and they did for the unfaithful wife. And she had to live with the consequences even though everyone forgave her for the infidelity. Secondly, it showed how easily it is to fall into an inappropriate relationship, that's why I think Kim Kardashian did a great job of acting (although largely playing what she does in real life, which is to be concerned with the externals). It was Kim's influence of external beauty that fueled the fire of the movie. I tell you this film is one that will keep you on the straight and narrow in your personal marital life. This is a must see movie!

This is probably one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen. Not only because it preaches pseudo-morals but because it makes absolutely no sense. OK, so you want to tell the world that if you don't stay with your boring husband who forgets your birthday two years in a row, you will burn in hell. Fine, if that's what you think. But do you have to throw in all the bad stuff just because? Seriously, who believes that?So we have this rich guy, who's supposed to be the next Mark Zuckerberg and who states himself that he is a workaholic. Now, imagine Zuckerberg would beat all his girlfriends, sleep around in parties and take drugs all day long: Wouldn't we all know that, because he's famous? Wouldn't we all know that ZUckerberg, Bill Gates, whoever on Forbes hits his wife? Come on! And how can it be that he is a workaholic, but then turns out he's taking drugs and partying all the time and actually never works? His ex girlfriend is super scared, we see how she walks into her apartment and takes a bat, just in case he's there, she wants to move away cause he came in where she works, she changed her name and yet, she is still living in the same city! Maker perfect sense, Tyler Perry.I don't want to bother you with more details, just don't watch this crap from someone who obviously doesn't have a very high opinion about women or sex.

I love some of TPS movies. Dairy of a Mad Black Woman, The Family that Preys, Madea's Family Reunion and Mr Deeds. Temptation is none of these. No depth, no spark and too predictable. I mean really predictable. It really really missed the mark for me. I was really disappointed after I curled up with my ice-cream and throw and was all ready to have a good time. It was like cooking dinner for your family and the roast got burned, the potatoes really salty and sloppy, no veggies and milk as the only beverage. I hope to enjoy another TPS production on the caliber of my favorites listed above. I'm glad I watched this on Netflix and did not have to get ready and drive to the movie theater, paying big bucks for this mediocre experience.
