AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
vipul chaudhary I didn't like Spiderman Homecoming because they showed Peter too much dependence on Stark. Spiderman is an iconic hero who sorts out his foes himself. Iron man and Marvel were too dominant in this one.Although the villain Vulture played by Michael Keaton was amazing. His motivation and his character development was realistic and quite fascinating. A sense of excitement went by as long as he was on screen. Other then him Tom Holland was also good as Spiderman. He followed essence of character well enough. Much better then Andrew Garfield in Amazing Spiderman. Alas, his effort was submerged in overshadowed by Downey as Stark and overall approach of Marvel for this story. Other then these whole cast was trash. MJ is really an annoying sleep deprived girl. Flash is a small Indian rich guy. Give me a break. Although Ned was somewhat ok and provided some comic relief. Can live with that. For next part they should follow Peter journey in discovering his own powers and motivations. He has so much more than Stark provided suit. Genius level intelligence, Super Strength/physical durability and Spidey sense (a hint was seen in Infinity war). And also they can bring in some interesting characters from comics.Music is fine with almost all Marvel movies.
Sergei Maruk Spider-Man: Homecoming is a MCU movie and if you are familiar with other titles, you can imagine how this movie works. Part of becoming a hero is skipped and it's a big plus, since we know it already and seen it thousands of times. The movie shows that expectations about being superhero may differ from reality and that makes Spider-Man a bit different from other superhero movies. Since Spider-Man is a 'teen' in this movie, Tom Holland act like one and he does a great job. Making Spider-Man younger again didn't make movie childish. Of course it's not serious drama movie and you shouldn't expect it from Spider-Man, but the movie can entertain adults just as kids, just because it's not filled with too much fantasy and unbelievable stuff. Jokes fits perfectly and are not overwhelming. If you are looking for fun family movie - this one is probably the best pick from whole MCU movie collection. It's easy to watch, entertaining and filled with good humor- go for it.
SharkByteAudioProductions Straight of the bat, Spider Man Homecoming is the strongest cinematic live action Spider Man in many years. Granted, Sam Raimi's movies were great action movies that arguably propelled the boost of live action comic book adaptations in the early 2000s and The Amazing Spider Man entries were entertaining enough but Marvel studios have really nailed the character of Peter Parker in this ironically fresh entry, even at the sacrifice of a more action heavy structure.Spider Man Homecoming skips over Spider Man's well known origin story (if you're un-familiar, just watch Sam Raimi's Spider Man (2002) with Tobey Maguire) which was a great decision, considering this is the 3rd live action incarnation of the character in 15 years. However, Peter Parker is still only 15 years old in Homecoming so we get to see his character develop as our favourite neighbourhood Spidey, which it 100% nails ; this includes showing some of the more mundane and humorous distractions Spidey would get on a daily basis as well as his awkward, relatable teenage struggles. Homecoming shakes up conventions by introducing new side characters for Peter Parker to interact with alongside fresh interpretations of older and more well known side characters with an eye for diversity too, which makes the film more believable in 2017. The comedy within this MCU entry feels quite progressive too, inducing cringe humour which may evoke questions from younger viewers. The pacing of the plot is excellent, with smaller odds that suit his solo entry in to the MCU; this includes a believable, complex villain who's well performed by Michael Keaton. Tom Holland also smashes the main role, showing a very likeable, energetic and enthusiastic Peter, who stills manages to be honest, awkward and grounded which are the core components of the character. My only complaints is that the action scenes are somewhat sacrificed for its character focus, which is a shame because there was a potential for larger on-screen battles with concepts the plot introduces. One particular action scene was also difficult to track and somewhat frustrating to watch as a viewer; despite this, the cinematography is excellent especially with its first person prospective camera work. The trailers for this movie also gave away a large majority of the structure so if you didn't see them initially, don't bother now and just jump straight in.Homecoming is a fresh and easy entry for newcomers to a modern take on Spiderman, though it will leave you hungry for more fight scenes and action sequences which is one of the main reasons people come to watch to watch superhero movies.
tbills2 In S-M:H Peter Parker is the biggest doucheregal in the history of doucheregals he's as smart as a doucheregal and he acts like a total DoucheRegal the whoooole movie long & it's kind of funny because Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Spiderman is totally NOT a doucheregal at all based off a consensus understanding and the fans undying love for our comic book hero did you know Peter Parker is actually hyper intelligent with a beautiful, cunning disposition & he is definitely not a doucheregal let alone the biggest douche......I LOVE THIS MOVIE BUT THEY made Peter Parker pure, annoying, doucheregally. Marisa Tomei is my all time favorite movie babe I'm not even kidding anymore I'm sick of it. I love Marisa so much God she's gorgeous all-time! I love Marisa Tomei. Old Aunt May was a relic from the comic past & the new, young Aunt May (fire hot Marisa Tomei) is the way to go for the big screen.i LOVE this movie & the incorporation of his new advanced spidy suit but Peter Parker is the worst! in this. Nothing like he should be. Spiderman is the Strongest Superhero of any & the BEST!
