Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.

Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Fulke Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
jen_girl26 I am a die-hard fan of Scooby Doo, having grown up with the original, so I have been hesitant to watch any of the new stuff, but....after having seen Camp Scare bc of my kids, I have to say that I loved it! They maintained the flavor of the original, with the music, the humor, and the characters. It's just an updated version. The story was great too. Writing done well, tight plot, suspenseful. As for the swimsuits on Daphne and Velma, I have to say that i thought they were tasteful. Since we hardly ever saw the gang in clothing other than what they always wore, it was refreshing to see them in something different. And I loved that they gave Velma some curves. I always hated that they drew her as so stocky and shapeless. Im guessing that they wanted us to focus on her brains, and to draw a character more true to life, which is fine, but I always felt like she kinda got shortchanged.I did kinda take issue with making Daphne somewhat of an airhead: squealing with delight that someone liked Velma while totally missing the insult that the ranger gave her. Also, putting her in Daisy Dukes was a bit much: regular shorts would have been fine, and that's just because we had already seen some skin when she wore the bikini. Really? Was it necessary to see more? Other than that, i thought she was a kick- ass chick: she sacrificed her scuba tank to get rid of the Fishman while risking drowning and she was a lot smarter than in older series.I got a kick out of finding out that Mark Hamill did the voices of Deacon, Babyface Boretti, and the old storekeeper. Cracked me up! I had no idea he was that talented in voiceovers. I recommend this for Scooby fans all over. The true spirit of Scooby Doo is maintained, and you will enjoy it a lot!!
grant-ishaug It was a very good movie, and reminded me of older scooby doos! I thought that it was cool that they added a little scary parts in it! Very excellent movie! The cast was great and i did not even think about who the villain was going to be in the end. They really made this movie as good as it could be. They voices were really good, and as much as i miss Kasey Casem doing scooby doo, Mathew Lillard does a very good job! If you kid loves scooby doo you should definitely show them this movie!Iv been watching scooby doo since the year i was born, and sometimes they aren't as good, but this one really was a great movie. It was equally as good as Scooby Doo Witches Ghost which is by far one of the best scooby doos ever made.
TheLittleSongbird I have been a big fan of Scooby Doo ever since I was like 6 years old. I adore the original series and The Scooby Doo show but the rest of the incarnations have been hit(Mystery Incorporated, The New Scooby Doo Movies and contrary to what I've seen and heard about it The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo was much better than I remembered) and miss(Shaggy and Scooby Doo:Get a Clue and the episodes of The Scooby and Scrapy Doo Show that had half the gang missing).I have also enjoyed most of the movies(I think my least favourite, Monster of Mexico, was even then was just mediocre), my favourites overall are Witch's Ghost, Goblin King and Zombie Island, but for me this and Abracadabra Doo were two of the better recent entries. If I had any complaints, it was that I would've loved it to have been longer and also I wasn't always crazy on the animation of Fred.Other than that, the animation was vibrant and colourful with some very nice touches of atmospheric darkness to it too. I also loved the style, it has some of the What's New Scooby Doo style(which I personally don't mind) while also having a little of the classic style of the original series. The music was great too, the song choices were well written and not pointless at all and the incidental music was haunting while never obtrusive.I was also very impressed with the writing, there is enough of the quirky humour to captivate while also having room for some thrills and scares. Scooby Doo! Camp Scare also has a very entertaining story with the camp setting bringing back some nostalgia, it is well-paced while not dragging too much in the middle and stays true to the stories of the series incarnations before it. The final solution is thrilling and very unexpected. The characters appeal too. Shaggy and Scooby still make me smile, while the Woodsman is a scary and memorable villain especially with the appearance. The voice acting is solid from all involved, Frank Welker still shows he has plenty of versatility while Matthew Lillard goofy and likable Shaggy also manages to be the biggest surprise. All in all, love Scooby Doo and I enjoyed Scooby Doo! Camp Scare. 8/10 Bethany Cox
jake-2-220009 This is the best scooby doo movie of all time. Its so scary funny. My brother was laughing all the way through the movie. The ending was so surprising.I really thought it was the guy from the camping store. And it was really funny when you saw camp little moose compared to camp big moose.I mean faceit Fred anybody would rather go to camp big moose. And scary. This must of been one of the most scary scooby doo movies yet.I actually a chill down my back every time the woodcutter showed up.You may not want to read any more of this review because it will ruin the movie if you have not seen it.I cant believe the fat little kid was the enemy. But one thing is that fish man was just to realistic.I mean it would be hard in real life to make a suit like that to do the things it did.Well i thought it was a very entertaining movie for kid and adult and would really recommend the movie to anyone.Oh it was just perfect watching it on a rainy Friday afternoon.
