Mickey goes into a souvenir shop out west and leaves Pluto with a buffalo bone to chew on. A small dog comes to take it away and runs into a ring of cactus with it; Pluto is too big to enter the same way, so he comes in from above and finds himself stuck inside until the small dog helps.

Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
TheLittleSongbird Disney has been and always will be close to my heart. Pueblo Pluto is one of those Disney shorts that is nice, but there is not much that is exceptional about it. It is lacking in laughs, essentially it's an example of a short that is more cute than it is funny, and the story, while not exactly dull, is very routine and rather thinly structured. Mickey is disappointingly bland, after seeing him being characterised so splendidly in many of the shorts from the 30s it is a shame to see him have so little to do. Here only his closing line raises a smile. Pueblo Pluto is beautifully animated though, the backgrounds are really colourful and have a lot of fluidity. The music is equally wonderful, brimming with vibrant energy. Pluto and the little dog are very likable characters and their interplay is very cute and has some amusement at least.Overall, a nice short but not all that much to it at the end of the day. 6/10 Bethany Cox
ccthemovieman-1 There really isn't anything funny in here, but it's such a cute cartoon it's hard to pan it. In a nutshell, Mickey and Pluto are sightseeing in the Southwest. They stop at a souvenir place and while Mickey goes inside, Pluto starts chomping on a delicious "buffalo bone." Soon, a tiny little pup appears from under the floorboards and competition erupts for the boneIn the end, the little guy has to use his brains to get Pluto out of jam in which he's trapped by a ring of cactus plants. As mentioned, there isn't much to this, just a lot of slurping and chomping by the two dogs. Wait - there was one funny scene early when Pluto started eating the bone as if it were corn-on-the-cob. Well, I guess you had to see it.Recommend for little kids only.
Robert Reynolds This is an average short, nothing special, but Tucson AZ is often referred to as The Old Pueblo, so I have a soft spot, likely one in my head, for this short. Not terribly novel or creative, with some amusing moments. Excellent cactus work though. Worth watching.
Coolguy-7 After Mickey gives Pluto a buffalo bone, Pluto nibbles on it for awhile and then a small puppy comes. I thought this was a pretty good short, but it would not be considered one of my favorites. The funniest part was where Pluto got trapped in the "cactus pen" after trying to get his bone back from the puppy.
