There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Post Mortem is a German made-for-TV movie that keeps the audience at the end of their seats. It is a wonderful 'whodoneit' with engaging plot twists. It is about a murder of a young woman, who is living on her own for the first time and is the daughter of a well-respected medical school professor. The police think that she is a call-girl, as her murder fits a serial killing pattern. But the chief police medical examiner (who trained under the victim's father and a family friend) is not convinced and sets out to find the truth and the killer. The casting really stood out in this film. Annette Frier excelled in her brief role of a murder victim.
