Lumsdal Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Numerootno A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
larslincoln Ophelia is a beautiful movie with a wonderful cast. I was in awe of Daisy Ridley and Naomi Watt's acting, as they were really the stars of the show. The film itself was captivating and I loved the dialogue. It was such a different take on a known classic and even though I am familiar with the original, I was engrossed every step of the way. I cannot wait until this comes out in theaters.
juneszahdi Absolutely loved it. Saw it at Sundance earlier this year. Was very impressed by the unique approach and very touched by the performances. This is a beautiful contribution to female empowerment in Hollywood as well. Must see for sure!
bradbarrett54 I go to Sundance with my friends every year and we see a lot of movies. This year, I was a big fan of Ophelia. I am not super familiar with Hamlet, actually, so I'm not sure how much it mirrored the original, but I found the story to be compelling and interesting. I also thought that the chemistry between the two main characters was dynamite. It was also really beautiful to look at, too. We would all recommend it.
harrywrinkle I saw this film last night at the Sundance Film Festival and I was blown away. The sets are so gorgeous, the acting is amazing (especially Daisy Ridley), the music was compelling and it was such a fresh take on the original. I absolutely loved this film and look forward to seeing it in theaters.
