Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
ThrillMessage There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.
Verity Robins Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
Derrick Gibbons An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
danieln-15525 If they did the movie more like the originial events in the Bible it would be more beautiful. Did you know that the duration of time that Noah tried to convince the people to be righteous was 102 years? Did you know the pouring rain was boiling - rain of 100 degrees celsius (212 Frabheit). If they did it like the Bible it would ne more deep and beautiful. Instead that was just half action that didn't make much sense. For example, in the Bible, Noah knew what he should do. God told him that. Second, The creatures that were in the movie are complete nonsense that doesn't exist in the Bible at all. Third, Noah built the arc himself (the effort of building the arc, should have made up for his sins). ect.
cinephile-27690 Except for Veggie Tales and The Last Temptation of Christ, I hate biblically inaccurate movies, Now I get that the director wasn't religious and it was artistic license but I still didn't love it. Instead of expanding on Genesis 6-9, why not just do 1-9 or something? But rock monsters, and the Emma Watson having a baby on the boat was unneeded. And she and Noah's son were already married, they did not have pre-martial sex. And if Noah DID have to kill the baby, he wouldn't "spare the sin" becase he was "filled with love!" That means he-a righteous man- fell in love with a sin-by Noah's logic. See The Bible: In The Beginning(1966) for a better look at Noah.
ianchris-60131 One of the worst things ive seen in a long time.Transformers The Biblical Version.Darren Aronofsky is a travesty and ALL his movies are frauds only Requiem for a Dream has some redeeming qualities, but even so its half decent but this travesty of a movie titled "Noah" is an aggressive insult to the audience.0 Stars out of 10.
tsquaring If you're looking for a movie that gets it wrong, this one's for you! If you were looking for a story that relates what's in the Bible to Movie screen, you're going to be dismayed. I gave it one star because I couldn't give it a negative number star. One can only assume the people involved in this movie have never actually read the story in the Old Testament. If I were an actor, I would have refused to be in this movie. There is acting talent in this movie and it's too bad it's used in an abusive way. At least there was a flood and an Ark. Beyond that, this movie disappoints. If this movie comes on TV, make a dentist appointment and get a root canal. You'll be glad you did.
