AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
clock_me This new Muppet's movie started out pretty good the whole ides of having a evil frog switch with a Kermit made me continue watching it, but it all fell apart when they started the singing I mean why have a story like this and then add some really crappy music with it I have to say this would have been one of the best kid flicks I would have surly bought if it weren't for the long crappy not needed music even the cameos were kinda crappy and didn't add very much to the movie at all I prefer the first Muppet's movie from 2011 because I expected ever thing from music and comdie and I really enjoyed it not so much this one thou this is what i get for not watching the trailer first
Eddie Cantillo Muppets Most Wanted(2014) Starring:Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, Tina Fey, Steve Whitmire, Eric Jacobson, Dave Goelz, Bill Barretta, Matt Vogel, Peter Linz, Tom Hiddleston, Salma Hayek, Ray Liotta, Kenneth Collard, Pamela Betsy Cooper, and James Pasierbowicz Directed By:James Bobin Review TAKING THE WORLD BY FARCE You know I actually did very much enjoy the first movie with Jason Segal and Amy Adams, and I'm not even that big of a fan of Jason Segal when it comes to his movies, but I however did not want or was interested in a sequel. The film revolves around The muppets while on a grand world tour, The Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit the Frog look-alike and his dastardly sidekick. The movie does not achieve it's goal, at least not for me I did not have fun with this movie,I was bored for the most part but I did like some of the songs, which is a very good thing cause I never usually like the songs in a musical. The story is not really that interesting, it feels like a Muppets special or something, I liked the first Muppets because it was about two fans one who had a girlfriend and the other who really wanted to meet and help The muppets and be with his best friend. The performances are kind of straightforward and bland, but I did like Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey, however everyone else is just muppet voices which is just kind of straight-forward. The direction is surprisingly well handled, I liked his approach and the idea with the comedy, but the writing I just couldn't get into it. All the elements of a good are not present I didn't feel that invested in what was going on or in any of the characters because this is franchise without consequences for the muppets , everything is just going to turn out fine in the end and it's really boring. I give it a two and a half out of five.
italianredneckgirl I grew up loving The Muppet Show. I learned from Sesame Street, which I called 'Nesame Street.' Jim Henson was a brilliant man. But, this latest in Muppet movies lacked, well, everything. The basic plot of someone, a nefarious Kermit wannabe, stealing Kermit's identity and carrying on as Kermit, despite obvious accent and behavior quirks. The Muppets didn't realize anything was wrong. It lacked imagination. A sentence I never would have put in conjunction with Jim Henson before. The plot wasn't engaging, was slightly more adult than it should have been, and was lacking Muppet charm. Tina Fey, worth her horrible accent didn't help matters much. Ricky Gervais was horrid. All in all, just skip it.
g-bodyl The Muppets Most Wanted is the sequel to the 2011 hit film which reintroduced the Muppets to the world and a new generation. This film is more of the same with high entertainment value and is often fun to watch. The songs are great, although they cannot compare to the first film. My favorite song has to be the gulag song sung by Tina Fey. The emotional value isn't as strong in this movie thanks to the disappearances of Jason Segel and Amy Adams. Luckily, this film does possess a handful of awesome cameos.James Bobin's film brings us back the Muppets after they are famous again in their own movie. At the advice of a new manager named Dominic Badguy, they decide to go on a world tour. However, they don't know that this tour is actually a scheme to rob historical venues all across Europe. A Kermit look-alike named Constantine tries to become the world's most masterful thief as he puts this plan into submission, but he must first put Kermit in a Siberian gulag. The three main actors here are Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey, and Ty Burrell whom are impressive in their own merits. That does not stop me from missing the chemistry of Segel and Adams. Nonetheless, all the above performances are excellent. As for cameos, keep an eye on the ones by Christoph Waltz, Ray Liotta, and Danny Trejo.Overall, the Muppets Most Wanted is a fairly solid sequel and great family fun. The main highlights are the opening and closing musical acts. The first act is funny because it talks about how sequels are never as good as the original, which is often true. The film is mostly funny, although I miss the emotional impact the first film had. On the whole, this is another Muppets success. My Grade: B+
