Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
ed_two_o_nine I watched this having not seen the original I am unable to compare them. But for a straight to video Disney sequel the standard I did not find to be that bad. It was reasonably well animated and had a descent cast (I am not sure how many of them where in the original). It is a typical children's movie theme of morality but an unusual story to put the message across. We have the often mined theme of a parentless child finding friendship with another being (in this case Lilo with Stitch), but an unusual story to show it where Stitch has a glitch in his molecular make-up that is threatening to turn him evil. The admittedly short movie moves along at a good pace all coming to the inevitable conclusion but in a pleasant enough way. I enjoyed it and would certainly watch it again, but it would be better watched with children.
Bon_Jovi_chick Now I have seen the first film and fell in love with it. I have not been a fan of Disney sequels so I watched this with cautioned. In the end, I fell completely in love with it. It would have been nice to have Daveigh Chase be Lilo. However, due to her commitments with the TV show, that wasn't possible. To be fair, I really liked Dakota Fanninf in this and in my opinion, she gives Lilo a "lower" voice which actually reflects on the dark tone of the film.Yes it is somewhat darker than the original film and I guess that's why I like it so much. Now, in my opinion, some Disney sequels don't seem to have much plot but this one had a great plot. It continues with Lilo missing her parents (although her mother tends to be the one mentioned the most) and with her and her sister now coping with their new extended family (Stitch, Peakley and Jumba).Of course, more problems occur when Stitch becomes out of control due to a malfunction and he is losing confidence as well as causing a strain in his friendship with Lilo. This is a great film equal if not superior to the original film. If you are cautious about Disney sequels, well still watch it. You may hate it but I'd recommend you do what I did: Just watch it and never judge the DVD by it's cover lol Helen xxxxx
manicman84 Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch is a straight-to-video follow-up of an animated film which became famous for Elvis Presley songs and likable characters. My favorite ones are Jumba and Pleakley and I couldn't wait to see them once again in a full-length movie. As regards the message and main theme of the pic, sequel visually resembles its predecessor, which is a kind of loss as I really expected totally different plot with maybe some new characters. Now Lilo is participating in contest for the best dance and Stitch has sudden fury attacks. However, it all results in the same ending and the same message - a great power of friendship. Besiedes, Jumba And Pleakley remain a bit unused (!) and one subplot (relationship problems between Nani and David) is underdeveloped. Let's go on to more pleasant things. The movie is incredibly funny and ingenious. The verbal humor is aimed not only at children and some scenes are just hilarious. For instance, the scene when the whole family is watching sci-fi film on TV and when Stitch is trying to be a helpful creature. All in all, the plot of Lilo & Stitch 2 is half-baked and, in consequence, the flick is only satisfactory.
sammyjosmith After seeing Lilo and Stitch i thought no movie would ever come close to how cute it was. However, the very beginning of 'Stitch has a Glitch' was so cute i found myself awwing and wanting a stitch of my own. The story line stays true to the original Ohana/Elvis theme, and has some really funny moments. If you liked Lilo and Stitch you will love this one too. Although a little predictable like most children's films, i felt this was one of Disney' finest achievements. A couple of the characters from the first film are not involved, such as Cobra Bubbles, the story and the characters keep you entranced for the entire length of the film.My only complaint is that it should be longer, but what they squeeze into the time is excellent
